Absolutely outstanding performance. We showed city what it takes to win the big one and had Werner had any semblance of a goal scoring centre forward last night, he could have bagged 2 I side the first 20.
    Champions of Europe once again!

Outstanding result! Congrats to Tuchel & the team - massive performance by all concerned - huge achievement considering our situation around Xmas certainly a rollercoaster of fortunes but we ended it on a massive high....outstanding!!!!

Going against the grain a little after absorbing the tremendous euphoria accumulated amidst our emphatic triumph in the ECL cup final. I look at the massive effort that our players put in to achieve our goal. Werner was still crap. He was brought here to score goals and the rest of the team must be very frustrated at the work they have to do to lay chance after chance at his feet yet he still has the prowess of a dead chicken. With a goal scorer we would have pushed Citeh for the league this year, yet, strangely. Because of him we ended up with Tuchel. Thoughts.

And while I'm at it. I need to apologise to Jorginho, who's work for me goes unnoticed at times and I only look at his mistakes I tip my cap to you fella you were as good as anyone in the final. Let's not forget the mammoth effort of the three back line Dave superb, captain fantastic, Ruudi we been feeding him raw meat monster of a performance. Silva and Chris seemless transition. James and Chillers massive Mount, class is all I can say Havertz getting the job done and more. So who have I missed................Na................ Kante' no words can describe this dude and so humble. I'm in love with him in a footballing way.

I actually feel bad for the lad. Since that run of goals he got early doors his confidence has been shot. In fairness to him he hasn't dropped the head and still gets himself in to great positions. The interesting part of this for next season is if we end up getting the likes of Lukaku or some other prolific goalscorer, where is Timo going to fit in as Mason and Kai will be first choice for other 2 forward spots. Personally i would cut him some slack and see how he goes with a new season and crowds back. Probably a ridiculous comparison, but i remember Rinaldo's first half season with Utd he took a lot of flack from fans and was touted as a "one trick pony" for all the step-overs. We know how he ended up !

Not a ridiculous comparison at all Naas, but if you remember Ronaldo came to these shores as a young untested player with bags of potential. We bought Werner on the basis he was the finished article, proven scorer and all but its his basic football ability I worry about his miss kicks hitting his standing leg missing the target by a country mile, his goals have all been tap in's that my granny would have scored can't fault his speed and effort but if that was the measure of a footballer Mo Farrah should play for England.

Fair points B.T.T. We will know by Christmas what kind of a player we really have...unless of course he is used as a part deal to bring in someone like Haaland. Imagine adding Haaland in to this team now...scary <ghost><monster><ghost>.

I would take Lewandowski on a free at this point in time.

I'd be getting rid of Pulisic before Werner, absolutely no comparison between the input to the team between those two. Werner has been among our best 3 players last 4 or 5 games while Pulisic continues to flatter to deceive, one great game, 5 lousy ones. Both could well come good with this season under their belts, like Drogba did.
Haarland is another tricky one, he sure looks the business, but he's only done it in the Bundesleiga. At £100 mill he has to be a tad risky, but one worth taking. Won't be easy to keep him from Barca, Real, City etc. Lewandowski I'd get in a heartbeat, but again, so will the usual suspects. Interesting off season this one suspect we'll sell or get rid of maybe 7 players, possibly more, and bring in at least 3. Haven't a clue who though and have given up trying to guess Audis selections.

The great thing about winning the champions league is that we become the first choice for all the top talent. Everyone wants to join the winners.

Spot on. Every major club in Europe was after Hazard in the summer of 2012. He fires off a tweet to say i'm joining the European Champions !!!

50/1 sounds about right. Should have been 5,000/1 as per the odds for when Leicester won the league. Then I would have had a bet. <doh><doh><doh><doh>

Just to reinforce the strength and potential of this Team...3 quickie stats. Emerson under Mancini has become Italy's regular left-back...Chesea's 3rd choice L.B. Kepa is currently the world's most expensive Goal-keeper...Chelsea's back- up G.K. 7 of the players that featured on Saturday are aged 25 or under. Exciting times ahead !!!

Emerson has played very well for us in his last few run outs. In a back 4 he might have got a lot more games. Kepa has also looked more like his old self under Audi.
I think Audi will be looking at 3 positions, Striker, creative midfielder and central defender, and looking at proven performers, not just players with potential. If Alonso goes as expected, Emerson might still stay as we will be short on the left with just Chilwell. Then again, who can guess what Audi has in mind ???? Exciting times alright.
