He has ability that’s for sure, but his decision making was frustrating a lot of the time.

The bloke came, had a go, hasn't worked out. He could be a player that feeds off of the crowd, like Maguire. So I don't think we seen the best of him. Could be a different best with a SOL behind him. But alas, it's all pie in the sky now. All the best.

Inconsistent but at least athletic. In a straight choice of him a mcnuggets it's a no brainer.

P.s Chris Maguire has been ****e for 3 years and all this king bollocks and his 'antics' masked the fact he's stole a wage in his time here. His unprofessional approach to his own physique and fitness are only just short of what I'd call Rodwell level. Jack or Jim.

As far as the 'king bollocks' is concerned, I believe that there's only one person on here that misguidedly refers to him as that :emoticon-0105-wink:

We all differ, and he definitely is 'different' :emoticon-0148-yes:

  5. The thing is with players like Maguire and Jones, they thrive when the team is playing well. They're instinct players, not reliable contributors. They have the ability to make a good team even better, but they need the foundation. They very rarely shine in a struggling side, other than the odd moment of class, because the solid team performance isn't there for them, and they need that behind them to do what they do best.

Think you've hit the nail on the head there like. We've not had a solid base to build from for years.

Because he didn’t play like Messi every week he got some unnecessary stick from our fans. Pathetic considering he contributed to some important goals during the second half of the season, but like I say, he isn’t Mo Salah so will get abuse from the usual suspects.

None of our goals were important, we failed to go up.

90% of the comments, on here and RTG, are criticism and people saying they don't want him back ...

... are they all the usual suspects.

make your mind up… is he not Mo Salah or Messi?

This could easily be the most hypocritical post on our forum! You are one of the “usual suspects “ Maguire is undoubtedly talented but you get 4 or 5 good games a season out of him. what use is that? You’ve slated players who’ve played consistently better than him. Love to know which “important goals” he’s been involved in too

Agree. Think he would have been a very frustrating player to watch - Cleary has the ability but makes the wrong choices or goes missing in games

Hahahah Jones was involved in a lot of goals, that at the time, were deemed ‘important’ - wake up and get a grip on reality sunshine. Very good player who should be playing above our level. We could do a lot worse than to sign him on a perm next season, exactly the type of player we need if we want to progress.

7 combined goals and assists speaks differently, considering he was benched most weeks by the idiot in charge. Very unlucky not to score in the play offs too when the Lincoln keeper pulled off that worldy of a save. If that had gone in, I could lay money, your views on him would be different.

How many important goals were there and how many points won ...

... look it up and you'll find your views on him would be different.

Think you need to get a grip on reality. Where was that really good player against Lincoln when we really needed him? Or in numerous other games. Scottish Prem is a championship quality league at best yet he’s not wanted up there.

As was the Lincoln lad who pulled a worldly out of burge. What else did he do that game? Just remind me? How many chances did he create or nearly chances? I remember him falling over a lot.

I think he was worth a shot on loan because he's levels above on his day. Didn't work out. He'll be quickly forgotten.
