I was there ! I took a friend who had been quite unwell - (has since sadly passed away) as my regular partner telephoned the morning of the game ( 6 am!) to say he had severe bronchitis. What a day ! We parked outside Cardiff, and got the train in. Good plan on the way in... Never mind. Magnificent stadium. I thought we deserved it ,even if DeMerit's free header was the result of some clever skulduggery by Malky. Wonderful journey home with special fish and chips. I was pleased for Aidy too as well as the players, the club. As a result, there are now many national electrical grid distribution control boxes scattered throughout the world where the access passwords are AIDY & HORNS.
That is a shame for your mate but nice his replacement got to see a famous Orns win before they sadly passed away . Can those passwords be changed ?!
I was in Hogsback, South Africa, where Tolkien lived as a child and on which he is reputed to have based Hobbiton. I went for a walk and it started snowing. I got back to my accommodation just in time to see the game and watched with beer in hand by a roaring fire. Memorable, especially as the commentary was from Mozambique and in Portuguese.
A real shake up at the Academy by the looks of things. https://www.watfordfc.com/news/club/news-johnson-gilligan-taylor-made-for-academy
Maybe won't be very popular and people will still call it Vicarage Road but surprised it's taken so long for this idea to come up. http://sportwitness.co.uk/pozzo-fam...p-messages-udinese-future-give-hornets-hints/
Horrible idea really. Maybe we could get the Church of England to sponsor it - and just call it The Vicarage?
It seems that Cucho is coming back next season. I say 'back', but I'm not sure if he's ever actually been here. http://sportwitness.co.uk/player-al...ll-interested-parties-including-current-club/

Around 26 minutes in - "...without naming names...the team improved significantly when a player left - who was technically one of our best players..." I'm assuming that said unnamed player was the one who got himself a medal last night?
