It's probably myself thinking out loud again, I do that a lot ha ha.

I mean on the case of us not being able to offer players new deals and such, again it goes back to us now operating on a League One budget, we can't offer championship wages to those that are attracting interest from clubs in the leagues above. (Wyke to Boro & a strange O'Nien link to Watford has surfaced on Twitter).

I'd see many of our signings this summer, if fees are involved being done under the "Undisclosed" banner.

I'm sure that you're right, but Brexit has made it much more difficult to do that.

If KLD stays as committed to the club as he seems to be, and a new data based system is used across the board then we have little to worry about. Weaknesses will be addressed, changes are inevitable, whether its the players or staff who knows but I honestly believe that the only way is up for SAFC. This league can be won without breaking the bank and to throwing money at players is not the answer, Short tried that way and failed, sensible decision making is the vital requirement.

Hopefully with this new data led approach we'll be seeing a lot of 'who?' responses like Xhemajli last year but he's very highly thought of and looked a good player in pre season.

I don't mind that tbh, buy the player, give the fans a good profile of his style of play etc. and if they do the business, happy days.

I do look at Brentford and how they're doing but Barnsley is also a great example. They were only playing us 2 seasons ago and this year made the Championship Play Offs. Not bad for a side who don't spend much.
