I would think McGeady will start on the bench if that avoids triggering the new contract. He and JJ didn’t get much joy in the first half hour anyway on Tuesday. I would also start with Stewart up front.
I'm going for a 1-1 draw and unfortunately we know what that means. Delighted to be proved wrong. If we don't get to the final, I think the axe will swing very quickly on the players. Could even be a few departures Sunday/Monday.
I'm going to say we'll win 2-0 and force extra time/penalties. If we don't make the final or even if we do and we don't go up, I won't be too downhearted as I have every faith in KLD and the people and systems he's putting in place to get us promoted next season.

Got to say I am a million times more relaxed going into this 2-0 down than I would have been 2-0 up strange that. I'd already given up hope as a defence mechanism as I hate the playoffs. Dare I say that for the first time in the history of us being in League One - we are the underdogs? Nobody expects us to go up now. That alongside the return of the fans, could be the catalyst needed. Pressure all on Lincoln in a strange sort of way.
It's LJ's press conference at 1pm. My prediction is he says there's no truth to the rumour about the contract clause BUT McGeady has a knock and is 50/50 anyway. Then he turns up on the bench.
I haven’t watched it, but apparently LJ said the reason he didn’t bring Maguire on was because there was no one to take off The bloke is a compulsive liar.
Excellent thread again, RTB. Thanks! How together the team is, is going to be crucial tomorrow. Everyone must be on the same page and fighting for one another. We also need one or two to come out of their shells and be leaders. If all of those happen I'm going with an astounding 4-1 win.
Let's be honest, if this was Lincoln, their fans would be pleased with 0-2 and the chance to have a go at home. Lincoln weren't impressive, battled and rode their luck ... but not impressive.

I hope it is welcome back to Britain and you aren't posting from some French detention centre having been pinched for dodgy documentation! How lincoln fans react would, like us, have been dependent upon the fight put up by their players. If we had been hammering them, showering their box with crosses but been denied by a keeper having a worldie and some desperate last ditch defending then we would have been a lot happier about things.
Cheers mate, just arrived in the Cotswolds then Mansfield tomorrow for the match. Had all the jabs, tests and paperwork so managed to get through both borders and home at last.
It's good to see a fair few people advocating starting Stewart over Wyke. Let's hope LJ sees it that way too.

In the event of a defeat it would be great if KLD came onto the pitch in the first few seconds after the final whistle is blown with a basket of P45s and handed them to each and every one of them. Obviously with an unwavering smile throughout. No promotion = no job in my opinion, they have had long enough to get this right the time for ****ing about is now over.
Need an early goal so we need as many of our goal threats/providers on the pitch and that's Wyke, Mcgeady, Gooch and Maguire. We also can't afford to concede so need the balance of attack and protecting the back line with the wingback system and legs in the middle. -------------------------Burge---------------------- ----------Onien-----Wright-----Flanagan---- Gooch--Winchester----Scowen---McFaz -----------Maguire----Wyke---McGeady------
