He has 6 months or so left on his Dalian contract. No deal has been done yet, just that he wants to return to the Premier league. I think he will be wherever Rafa goes next.
His injury record will concern clubs... I suspect ours too... I think anything around that and he's gone
He's what, 32 in September? Older than most, but his game was all about strength rather than pace. If he was available on a free we should definitely have tried to snap him up on a 2 year contract even if the wages were big. He was an absolute beast towards the end of his season here.
Yeah, it's why I think we'll get another season out of him, or at least til January. Mike won't let him go on the cheap
It's good, but I really don't see Toney being available for only £20m, Brentford ain't gonna let him go for that.
I can't imagine he's got any love for us after we never gave him a chance so I can't see him coming here. I *can* however see him wanting to play for another club and score against us, as a big "**** you" to us.
He'll have some connections and friends up here but yeah I agree. If a takeover happens he might come here though..
Yeah no way would he come here,Celtic ****ed up last season with a derisory offer and I could see Spurs going for him if Kane leaves, price could up to £50m if enough clubs are interested.
He dodged a bullet with Celtic, he could have scored for fun there, but it's a piss weak league and he would have put his career in reverse going there. The championship was far more of a challenge for him, and he blasted that league apart.
-Ba-----Cisse-----Ben Arfa --------Cabaye------------ ----Tiote-----Perch We were talking about forwards. Ben Arfa wasn't an RM, he was a RF at his best. He didn't work in a 4-4-2 when he was expected to cover defense. He only works when he's able to be a RF or RW, given freedom from defensive responsibilities.
a very big if at that mate. The bloke is made of stuff that couldn't even snap balsa wood. Maybe with our billions when we get taken over we can bring some decent fitness, strength and conditioning coaches in. Ice baths in wheelie bins probably doesn't help either but we need to get the bogs sorted at the ground first like, that is numero uno priority!
He's not a striker though is he... I could throw max in but he's not a striker. I'm simply saying I think two strikers Wilson and Rondon are better than Ba and cisse... Its open to debate of course, but if we start throwing in attacking midfielders it's going to get messy
