They've won every domestic trophy in last 30 years and gone deep into champions league last time they qualified. Chilwell hasn't won anything now other than a big pay packet since leaving (think city will beat them in other final too) most players would kill to play in a team with togetherness they have. I think problem they have is getting better in not players leaving imo.
Whilst I have no love for Leicester I look at their owner, manager and players with some envy. I hope KLD falls in love with our club and we can get the same togetherness as Leicester seem to have. Happy for their owner after his personal loss.
I agree with all of that although I always thought that using a helicopter in such a situation was really daft and unnecessary tbh.
I don't mind people happy clapping or being particularly pessimistic tbh, it's up to them and how their lives in general have been influenced imo. Personally, my glass is half full and nobody will change that. Call it happy clapping, rose tinted or whatever but.....it's based on more that football. I just prefer to be positive in my general life.
The 'top' teams will come knocking now that Leicester have won another trophy. Ndidi to Spuds? Fofana to Man utd? Madison to Liverpool? All possible imo, plus an ageing Vardy.
Landing a helicopter in a stadium where there were numbers of spectators and players, from both sides, was ridiculous imo. I always thought it was a great indulgence to allow these unnecessary flights over the heads of so many people. It always reminded me of the way the staff of Dodi, and Diana, were pushed into a risky situation which was entirely for the capricious nature of their employer.
I have no love nor hate for Leicester, but it's nice seeing someone other than the usual suspects winning the Cup "again".
But, according to one of our posters, that makes you less passionate!! I’m exactly the same. My glass is half full always! Otherwise what’s the point?
If, as looks likely they finish top 4 they will certainly be able to afford to keep their players. They then need to make players look at examples of Drinkwater and Chillwell who've not set world alight. Grass isn't always greener and Leicester have won league and cup in last decade. Spurs have won sod all and Man United have won nowt under Ole.
Are Spurs any more of a top club than Leicester? Haven't won the League since 1961. Think you're right that Fofana will end up at Utd or Liverpool.
I'd imagine he's not getting ahead of himself and just getting on with changes needed. If we get closer to that sort of afternoon he'll be thinking that way though i'm sure.
I'm hoping KLD's a visionary. Those types set short and long term goals and 'picture' each scenario unfolding. He's already experienced Wembley without fans and might not have to wait until we win an FA Cup to experience that scenario. The fans could be at Wembley in a few weeks time celebrating promotion.
