So no Rooney for the group stages.

Capello says no Rooney in the warmup matches as he'll have to try new things.

England play okay and get through the group stages.

Rooney comes back. System changes again just for Waynikins. Opponents target Rooney. Rooney gets sent off again.

    England get knocked out.

    Wayne Rooney is devastated ....

Just like he was devastated when he was caught out before the last tournament and played rubbish (like all of them to be fair).

Just like he was devastated when he got the red card.

    Wayne is devastated for Wayne.

"Capello says no Rooney in the warmup matches as he'll have to try new things"

I hope you made that up. Try new things sounds as though Capello has no idea what the players he selects are able to do.
My Gran could get England to the knockout stage, Rooney has to play in warm up games and the knockout stage of the tournament.

Yep! fair to say that england could get to the knock out stages without a manager! Rooney has to still be part of the squad as he is our best player but he isn't learning is he!!

I gave up on England finally after the 4-1 v Germany, Capello will just pick Terry, Lampard, Gerrard and co even though these players have never worked together as a team, Terry the captain and for me there are several players that should be picked ahead of him- the German management exploited his lack of ability last time out so why would it change the next time. As for Rooney, he was our only chance of progressing as he had got himself back on track, without him you have the likes of Bent, Defoe, and god knows who else, maybe Welbeck could become a superstar the others certainly aren't
