A model professional. I would give him another year, and try to keep him at the club after that..

Pratley's time at Charlton will soon be over. But he'll last longer than Lee Bowyer.

Relegation is now a real possibility.
Thomas Sandgaard won't allow that. And after today he will know what he has to do.

I’ve heard that Schwartz is heading back to Denmark with another Dane coming the opposite way. No idea who though.

    I will miss his ****housery.

I can think of few better. Who have been Charlton’s best ****houses?

    Jose Semedo?

:emoticon-0159-music He comes from Portugal, he f**king hates Millwall... :emoticon-0159-music

Was Lawrie Wilson a bit of a naughty boy sometimes? Or did I just imagine that...

To be honest, I'm a bit hazy on ****housery.
I appreciate it isn't the same as just being a tough player who leaves his mark and scares the opposition a bit.

And (at the risk of sounding like a killjoy) I'm probably not the world's greatest fan of it.
Foreign examples of masters of ****housery as described online includes players who feign injury to get yellow cards awarded against opponents.
I don't mind a bit of winding the opposition up - Craig Bellamy style - but not all that rolling around on the turf.

Since I haven't watched Charlton all season I've not seen Pratley weaving his magic.
If I had I would probably get it.

I was primarily referring to his ability to commit clever fouls without being booked.

    “Breaking up the play”

Also his ability to win cheap free kicks.

    “Relieving pressure”

I was hoping he could teach Inniss a few things about using his arms effectively, without being caught. Sometimes Inniss goes a little UFC in his approach <laugh>

Pratley was fantastic at it when we were struggling in the Championship. Certainly helped us to some narrow wins. Now we are expected to be on the front foot, his darker arts may not be needed.

you forgot to mention getting into opponents heads - he was very good at winding them up ( a bit like Elfs on ittv )
