I would take both, has to be an improvement on Carroll and Gayle.

Aye it will have stung but it was the right call by bacon head - Dubravka is a better option and has helped keep us up. This to me is the perfect time to offload Darlow. Stock at all time high for a guy who has his limitations. Miffed to lose the No.1 slot which is understandable even if it was the right call. The stars seem to be aligning for an exit.

Your right it was the right call. Maybe could have been handled better.

Dubs is the better GK. I’m looking forward to seeing Woodman. He’s done well on loan.

Nah there is nothing a manager can say when you play how Darlow had, when he’s sniffing a possible England call, then you drop him. He’s just gonna think you’re an arsehole whether your Bruce, Klopp or anyone else. **** part of football but you’re in it to win.

He was kept in when England was possible - then he had a few average or worse games, the stats weren't backing him up, and he was dropped for a superior 'keeper.

Aye but in his head the credit was built up. Dubs got off to a really rocky start when he got back in. Had a really poor spell but was allowed to work through it. To be honest he hasn't been that great overall. I think he's massively overrated by our fans but there that's just a personal opinion. However in key moments, in important games, he seems to step up.

I can have sympathy with Darlow, it probably wasn't fair. What do you do as a manager though? Play your best team or not? If it was a full back you might think nah I'm gonna stick with him he deserves that much. But anything down the spine of the team is a trickier decision.
