So, our squad is already inside the ground and reportedly chilling in the executive boxes. Liverpool, however, are yet to make it to OT and the number of fan protesters is growing which begs the question of how the **** they intend to get into the stadium - unless they use a couple of Chinooks I can't see how they will get in......

News reports suggest the R's are in the house - so it looks like game on.

Team news - strong side, strong bench. I see plenty of goals in this one

Pre match message to Bailly and Lindelof - if in doubt, don't **** about - kick it into row Z

Liverpool's team is decent bar the glaringly obvious centre halves.

Got to attack and expose that pair.

You could say the same about ours but Bailly is decent if he's fully fit, and gives the pace that Maguire and Lindelof as a pair don't have.

Another half of football where Rashford is wasted in the right.
Pogba in stroll mood and Shaw having his worst game for a long time.

Need to buck the **** up second half, at least we are behind now so can get angry, kicking to the Stretty end too so all should be ok <ok>

Someone remind me again how Henderson is now No.1 ahead of De Gea?

    No idea.

De Gea would have saved both the last two goals.

Well that vividly dispelled the idea that Fred and McTominay are somehow a preferred partnership.

It's one or the other, with Pogba and Fernandes, not both with one of the other two marginalised.

Soon as Greenwood came on and Rashford switched to left and Pogba central, we were better.

Even then, too sloppy, but better all the same.

De Gea is better than Henderson, not even in question.

If Henderson doesn't like being No.2 for a couple more years, get rid.

De Gea has to play EL final.

I really don't understand why he switched both for the past 2 games. I just assumed De Gea would be playing both after he picked him against Leicester.

Just no need to fck around with that.

****ing incredible cock up, Rashford wasted on the right again which takes away Shaws attacking threat, Pogba wasted on the left where he can't find/link with Bruno, Henderson having a total nightmare and (just tonight :bandit: ) Fred was total ****e.
It says an awful lot about the performance when Wan Bissaka was our most threatening/productive attacker until the formation/player positions changed.

Maguire’s ability has been underestimated and like in many situations you only find out when the player is absent. Our defence was absolutely rudderless tonight and they had mistake after mistake. Couldn’t string 2 decent passes together. What a match to **** up. :(

Not really a good game but one you well deserved the win in.

God help us both in the CL next season <laugh>

It was a total sht team performance.

But I don’t think why everyone is overreacting. It was a largely meaningless game to us to begin with. Yes, I get it, Liverpool game is never meaningless.

It's even more fascinating reading the comments on BBC with many asking how the team is in second place. Ironically, I didn't read similar questions about City being in first place after losing to Chelsea.

Gary Neville crying about United missing one centre back when Liverpool have been missing all of their senior centre backs for over half the season.

Ah well, at least you had the referees to help you win the game - shame it didn't work though. There's only so much they can do I suppose - overturning a penalty decision and not sending off McTomitwat.

AWB is not a good footballer - simple.

He's good at one thing - tackling. His all round defensive ability i.e. positioning, concentration, intelligence isn't great and the guy can't attack to save his life.

Trent came to OT and showed you how it's done. Best right back in the world.
