Nae worries, it's the anticipation and longing that does it for me.

 

According to Home Office data, 4.9 million EU citizens living in the UK have applied for or been granted “settled status” to remain here. Of those, 4.88 million were domiciled in England. So that means not very many EU citizens wanting to stay in supposedly pro-EU Scotland then. Perhaps they are worried that staying in Scotland could leave them unemployed and paying a lot more taxes (the Independence dividend) after the next once in a generation Referendum...

It is not clear how Scotland will afford such a large navy given that an independent Scotland will no longer receive the net £15bn from London when the Barnett formula ends. Half of Scotland is on benefits while they are in the Union.

They never actually saw that Unionist parties polled 1,364,656 votes against Nationalist parties 1,326,194 in the Scottish election, so this clear mandate for IndyRef2 does not appear to be that clear. Just like when The Donald won the US Presidency, they had the votes in the places where they mattered to get elected.

 

Why would that be Scotland's Navy after independence?
