Some constituencies turn on a few votes, and require a recount. In these, an organised fraud could make all the difference as to who is returned as an MP. That's a problem.
Apparently Priti Vacant has just said that in future voters will be required to show a Conservative Party membership card before being allowed to cast their vote.
ID is a good idea and it stops fraud. Makes me laugh when people say how little fraud went on before... they are the only ones caught.
And Boris is trying to breed the Tories into power by his serial shagging exploits, playing the long game
Also wasn't you one of the two who said about me not lasting long working with people if I couldn't take a joke?
So firstly you're being serious, and now it's a joke? Did you take your meds this morning, think your dual personality is coming to the fore here
I confess it's not an issue I can get too exercised by, but I just still can't see the case for change. The burden of proof is on those trying to move away from the status quo, and I've not seen anything to prove this is an actual problem, or that it will do more good than harm to bring it in. I think it's probably just smart politics from the Govt as they know it will get Lab all fired up and Lab will paint this as a discriminatory policy, which makes Lab even more unrelatable to the Red Wall et al.
I think this has been on the cards for some time. I always say if you have nothing to hide, then why not have ID? Agree some will say it will hinder some voters.
Some will say it because it does. If it disproportionately affected groups likely to vote Tory it wouldn’t be up for discussion. It’s straight out of the Trump playbook.
**** sake man, how many times do you need to be told, I have no interest in the SNP, Sturgeon, Salmond or any of their cronies
Ellers does like to categorise people, often incorrectly, and then stick to this categorisation in the face of all evidence to the contrary.
