I have heard a rumour (assuming this is allowed @Roland Deschain?) that Bruce refused to do a post match interview and doesn't the time slagging off the journalists.

Also, why was he in talkshite when he should have been at training in preparation for our game on Friday?

No he was apparently said to have been 'unprofessional'

Basically he's obviously told them a few home truths

They don't like him and everything is negative...

He's hopeless it's Jones thst made the difference, but it's working fine now so I don't see the issue.

Well actually I do! It's all about the fans trying to win a 2 year old argument.

They'll get wilder and it all starts again.

There's more managers in the world than Steve Bruce and Chris Wilder

The problem is that's the type of **** we're going to get and the chances are it'll get worse not better.

The Jones bruce things fine... Our last goal was a 16 pass move on the floor vs 3rd place Leicester.

If a new idiot comes in they'll bring in their own idiot staff and the progress will be lost.

Honestly if no takeover happens just stick imo.. It won't be anyone worth taking on it'll be Dyche or some ****e like that

His football is awful he's just another Bruce.

If the fans really think Dyche or wilder is the secret to improving from around 13th every year they're being silly.

They make it up a they go along tbh mate.. Not long ago everyone wanted a hard working side and rafa gave them it, so they all started saying they'd rather lose 4-3.

This season the football was crap and we'd had a bad run, so they wanted Bruce out, but since Jones came in we've seen a huge improvement, so what's the problem now! The 2 wins in 20??? His win % it's all bullshit mate... Are they going to just ignore the other wins and draws? Do they not count? Did covid help? Was it during that bad run covid struck? And did we have 3 of our best players injured during that time ?

I wanted him out, but on reflection I was wrong he's has genuine excuses and he's kept us up and I've seen huge improvements.

Takeover get rid but otherwise it's starting to look fine

I honestly did think he would get us relegated. We got lucky that Fulham decided they wanted to go down instead of us.

There was a distinct upturn in performances after the second Brighton hammering. Rumour has it that the players themselves took things into their own hands.

For me it’s like this. Bruce kept us up. That was for me as a fan the bare minimum requirement this season.

Has he done a good job. No.

If Rafa had stayed and am exactly the same season had happened I would be saying the same thing.

We have made no progress under Bruce whatsoever.

It was all over Twitter so I think it’s more than a rumour.

He’s taken the opportunity since we are safe to come out and attack.

    Shows how classy he is.

Oh so now we got lucky? Was rafa unlucky when Norwich decided to get relegated?

This is exactly my point mate... We can't seem to just say we'll done and fair enough I was wrong

    Look here's a post I made in December 2020.

It was bang on.... They waited and struck during our bad run and now things have improved and they're at it still

I have to be honest I wanted him gone during that bad spell, but I'm happy to say I was wrong it's really quite easy.

I can’t say well done because it was not well done. We achieved bare minimum.

The objective for this season was to progress after a high spend.

It was job done. Not well done. If we say well done for avoiding relegation by the skin of our teeth. Playing some of the worst football we have seen in our history then we are accepting failure.

So what exactly are your expectations?

It was 17th under rafa so why is it now above 13th?

You do realise Leeds villa Everton and most other clubs spent more

My expectations where and still are improvement on the previous season.

We didn’t improve on any front.
I want to see more entertaining football.
    More possession.
    More chances created.
    An identity.
    Less chances against us.
    The right formation.
The right players in the right positions.
Players being picked on merit and not because they are a pal.

Yeah but the thing is I think we're going to finish around 13th again and there's definitely improvements in the way we play.

I'm not saying Nagelsmen or bielsa wouldn't do better mate im saying he's done much better than he's getting credit for.

They just didn't want him and have been desperate to see him get sacked, so litterally everything they can take issue with has been jumped on while at the very same time ignoring anything that's gone well.

He's right it's not been balanced and he's just a man trying his best which has been enough

Mate we've improved greatly since Jones came in? What are you watching?

The only blip was when we were missing max, Wilson, Almiron and schar.

Sorry but it doesn't take a genius to figure out why we had issues in that time.

You're currently just talking blindly out your arse mate because you've never liked Bruce from day.

I love you bro I love you all, but I'm not joking here I can see the reality and I called it out before it even took place in December

I’m not changing my previous post. I said I want improvements on the previous season.

I have said since the Brighton game I have seen an improvement in performances.

I have also said since Jones has came in there has been an improvement on the absolute tosh that was happening prior.

I’m not talking blindly out of my arse all the points I made in said previous post are all valid points.

Do I like Bruce. No I don’t. Doesn’t matter. I am making my own opinion based on the facts I have to hand.

    It’s just an opinion.

Just like your opinion is also as valid.

Comparing seasons is short sighted because the landscape of the league changes.

You're looking desperately for things to find to validate claim we're worse mate.

The last 9 we've lost 2... We've trounced 3rd place Leicester, beaten 6th place West ham and taken points from Liverpool and Tottenham in that time.

It's what's happening right now that matters and right now we're doing well

He's also waded into our players in public (a no no for any manager) and lost us a lot of points with that donkey Hendrick in the team (his pick).
btw.. Rafa actually made a profit I believe.
