The 'heartbroken' mother of the Brent Cross shopping centre stab victim today paid an emotional tribute to her son - describing him as a 'wonderful and respectful boy'.'He did very well at school and had a very bright future ahead of him. I don't know how this could have happened. He was a great boy and loved by everyone.'

A 15-year-old boy was last night rushed to hospital after being stabbed a number of times in one of London's poshest areas.

The teenager was attacked at around 6.50pm in Chelsea harbour in the west of the city, near homes worth £15million.

It came just an hour after a man was attacked with a knife outside Moorfields Eye Hospital in the east of the capital.


I wonder how Mayor Khan can keep a straight face and say that he doesn't agree that London isn't a safer place since he took office

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 16-year-old boy was knifed to death in east London. The boy was stabbed following a fight involving a number of people in Harold Wood, a residential area near Romford. Shocked neighbours said they saw a teenager sat on a wall sobbing and covered in blood, saying the victim died in his arms.

A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of a young man in a London shopping centre. Bhoniefas Rexson, 18, is accused of stabbing Gedeon Ngwendema to death outside a JD Sports store in Brent Cross shopping centre, north London, last Tuesday.
