You believe in authoritarian tyranny at the States behest, everyone a potential enemy of the state and the only way to keep safe is for the government to closely monitor all aspects of everyone’s life to make sure elections are safe from corruption, virus variants are found early and weed out the unvaccinated to keep everyone safe.

I believe that the Govt has no right to tell me I can’t hug my mum, I can’t run my business, I can’t take my wife out for a meal, I can’t see my grandparents in a nursing home, my kids can’t go to school, I can’t visit my sister who lives abroad unless I test myself for a virus I’m immune from then have to quarantine for two weeks.

They can go **** themselves.

The Higher Education “freedom of speech” bill will give allow speakers who face protests or have speeches cancelled because of their views to “seek compensation through the courts.”

The government claims there is “growing concern” about a “chilling effect” on university campuses.

While the study found that students are concerned about free speech being curtailed - they believe it is under greater threat in the country as a whole than it is in their university.

Some 54% of students polled in the study thought free speech was under threat in the UK as a whole, compared to 23% who thought it was under threat at their university.

It's about time this happened, Uni's have become a cesspit of closed thinking and indoctrination.
There was a time that all views were given the floor because students were expected to be intelligent enough to make informed decisions, now some think they need to be led.
