Keogh has won a watch! Those wages would have been taxed at 50%, but you don't get taxed on awards from court. Surprised Derby's legal team didn't approach the Judge about that. Guess they're of the same calibre as the rest of the club.

Morris has now amortised the award and then sold it to Rooney who in turn sold it back to Morris and as it turns out the tax man now owes Derby £63m from the stadium deal. Love Football finances <laugh> and bent owners

Looks like he was being taunted by some slurring lout. Who was playing the big man with his mates. They will now claim to be little angels. Best thing he could have done was walk away from the childish clowns.

Totally agree mate but you know how it is going to go don’t you. Under the headline “footballer thug attacked defenceless man”

Johnny Dogood, 21 of no fixed abode admitted to having had one can of cider and a very small amount of cannabis when he was surprised to see his favourite player, McBurnie, walking towards him.

Dogood wanted to discuss Sheffield United’s recent relegation from the Premier League and to reassure McBurnie that it wasn’t his fault because he (McBurnie) is a very fine player who always does his best. To his complete surprise McBurnie seemed to misunderstand and attacked Dogood for no reason. Dogood was very pleased that his three very good friends who were with him didn’t assist him in any way while he was being attacked for fear of breaking the law themselves.

    One week later...

The case against McBurnie was dropped after an agreement was reached between the prosecution and the defence and McBurnie agreed to have education on anger management...

After buying a moderately pricey and yet very expensive looking watch, Dogood and his spineless mates were seen in the Dog and Duck drinking snakebites, regaling how they were just about to kick the **** out of McBurnie when the old bill arrived and wolf whistling at old ladies walking past doing their shopping.

Parker is a really nice guy and was a footballing great in many respects, ut cannot agree on him as a manager. Wiki isnt great but any manager who has a Prem squad and gets relegated (not his fault) but then gets to keep that Prem squad in the Championship and even give Mitrovic a new contract and pay rise...........

Huge speculation arose over who would replace Ranieri on a permanent basis, this concluding after chairman Shahid Khan elected Parker to serve as manager on a two-year contract. [80] Parker was able to retain the majority of his players, despite relegation, with star striker Aleksandar Mitrović signing a new contract during the summer.[81] During his first season in charge, the COVID-19 pandemicresulted in all English sport being suspended from March until June 2020; Fulham ultimately finished the season in fourth place, missing out on automatic promotion by two points, thus qualifying to the promotion play-offs. After defeating Cardiff City over two legs in the semi-finals, they beat Brentford in the play-off final to achieve promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.[82] They lasted only one season before being relegated again to the Championship in May 2021. Parker said that Fulham must try to break the cycle of relegation and promotion and establish themselves in the top flight.

This reminds me of Juventus sacking Sarri because he didnt win the Champions league. They opted to bring in former player Pirlo who to be frank had no experience of management and has managed to get beaten in the last 16 of the CL this season to unfancied Porto. They are in 5th in the league with 3 games left and look like not qualifying for the Champions League next season. Buffon has decided to retire and it will probably mean Ronaldo leaves. Some good football players do not make good football managers

Even better result is that Juventus under Agnelli was the main driver to start the Super League and leave EUFA. This now looks like Juventus, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs will not be in any European cups next season, #superleaguemyarse
