Other factors probably are in play, such as societal change, but that doesn't mean that immigration is the cause as you suggested In fact research (I looked yesterday) suggests there is no evidence that the rate of violent crime has increased due to immigration. I suppose there could be something about violent crime against immigrants, who knows?

So did these facts that you mentioned clarify any of this, or did you mean some other demographic change that had an impact on knife crime? Links will do, as long as they aren't to the Daily Mail.

*disappointing article though. I was expecting a photo of someone with arms crossed staring furiously at an apple.

 

I'm taking a phased approach to going vegan. Initially, I'm only eating herbivores.

 

I have no real interest in McDonalds as they weren't around when I was a child and by the time they arrived, Yankee Burger had been a thing. This doesn't lead to a good first impression of McD's obviously, and nothings changed my opjnion on it since.

Having said that, the protesters are clearly silly ****s who give proper ethical protesters a bad name.

"The animal rights group is demanding McDonald’s commit to becoming fully plant-based by 2025."

Although, I did find it a quite amusing comment to be fair.

 

I am a confirmed meat eater but won't eat in McDonalds, not for ethical reasons, but because the food is ****.

By eating McDonalds vegan burgers and fries

 

That would do it. I suppose lying about a lot (in front of McDonalds and the like) wouldnt help.
I have always found vegans to be rather thin chaps (and chapesses) in my experience.

 

You’ve not met me then! actually I’m a couple of stone lighter than before I went vegan, but I’m still not exactly small.

 

25 most popular restaurants in Hull according to Trip advisor , Number one is in Camerton. Number two has closed from the Anlaby Road site where they state it is ,and is completely new on Newland Avenue .I gave up after that but I bet it’s an article full of pictures of food in polystyrene cartons because they could not be bothered to serve it on plates when their takeaway arrived .
