Could be interesting. Looks like he’s gonna beat Poch to the title in France. He’s got experience in England too as he was a coach at Pompey years ago
She’s a massive Spurs fan if that counts for anything? Sat in front of me at old WHL, shared her seat with her sister/ friend whenever she weren’t managing Chelsea. But it’s a definite no on the manager front from me. Zero experience managing men’s football and the contrast between the men’s and women’s game is ridiculous, despite how much media try telling us differently or people claim for wage parity in the sport.
Add to that you can guarantee that at least 98% of talkBALLS pundits will make jokes about her not knowing how to set up an offside trap, and the only reason it isn't 100% is because Alan Brazil exploded when somebody walked up to his front door and shoved a folded piece of paper through his letter box
Thankfully I steer well clear of TalkSport anyway. Think in all my life I’ve listened to about 4 interviews/ segments and even that feels like too much! Lol.
I avoid talkBALLS because their callers look and sound like this ...you weren't planning on sleeping tonight, were you?
A similar argument didn't stop Amelie Mauresmo coaching Andy Murray or Phil Neville coaching the England Women come to that. If the main job is to motivate the players and get them working as a team (which we are definitely not at the moment) then the particular experience might not matter. Would certainly shake the squad up.
Danny Kelly is worth a listen to as is the Paul Hawksby and Andy Jacobs show every afternoon. The rest is shock jock dross to get people to pay to phone up...I mean seriously, who the **** would pay to be on talksport ffs?
It’s just never appealed to me mate. I’ve never been one for radio anyway if truth be told and listening to so called experts that know little more than the average fan is just tedious in my opinion.
I do enjoy listening to Talksport...not always but it has its moments. I enjoy the phone ins, I often listen to it when I’m driving...all depends on the mood. Has some good shows on it

Tax EVASION is illegal, Tax AVOIDANCE is not. The annual UK "tax gap"reports usually have the former being at least 4x the cost of the latter.
My bad it’s only 13 managers in 20 years...not the 21 i thought. Spot on article, one day the dozers amongst the fan base will wake up from this bang average slumber Enic have put us in.
Let's look at the facts though. Surely everyone agrees that the best measure of football skill is league position. Clubs with ambition aim to win their domestic league and then move on to winning the Champions League. We've only had three decades in our history where we've had consistently good League performances. Our most consistent one ever was 2010 to 2019 where we averaged 4th. The 1960s were slightly worse on average and the 1980s a lot worse (average position 7.5). So on that footballing measure ENIC have delivered more than any other previous owner despite starting miles behind three other clubs financially and with Chelsea and Man City coming through at the same time. I don't doubt that we could have done better still if we had spent a lot more but that is not proven as Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd are all similar to us on average. Even this season, which is apparently a disaster, is nowhere near as bad as the worst season in the 80s. Why is there so much criticism of Levy for delivering our best ever decade of League finishes against the most competitive background in history.
Nobody cares about (or will remember) average league finishes, silverware is what football clubs are remembered for. That is why people remember the double side, the first ever UEFA cup in 72, and the 80`s etc, very few will remember 2010 to 2019, apart to remind themselves of failure.
