So many still think Boris ISN’t an absolute c*nt.

Regardless of who you vote for, or opinions on Labour, Starmer etc. It will never change the fact that Boris and his government have got away with scandal, sleeze, lies, corruption. He’s not a “man of the people”. Farage wasn’t. Rees-Mogg wasn’t. Unbelievable so many fall for this act.

And one day you’ll realise Brexit wasn’t for the working people either. You’ve been absolutely done.
What is about Brexit do you think we’ve actually won?

At least we got “back control” and handed it to a bunch of right wing and Etonians eh.

Enjoy Boris and his right wing and Etonian cronies though fella. They do not have your interests at heart. You’re merely a pawn in their corruption. Do you genuinely believe Boris, Farage and Rees-Mogg give a **** about you?

    Fair enough :1980_boogie_down:

I can understand people drifting away from Labour, I just can’t understand the north east drifting towards Boris though

AND this is ALL that LABOUR says!!

I assume your a party member, or simply just a fool.

I was a die-hard Labour person, but unfortunately they simply haven’t moved with the times, particularly the Left Wing who rule the entire party including Captain Hindsight.

It’s negativity all the way with them, they never have anything positive to say, apart from “pie in the sky” policies that the electorate knows is unachievable.

Boris & The Tories have their faults, but at least they are positive and are appearing to “get things done”, and the majority are seeing this happen, whilst at the same time also seeing Labour Front Bench politicians constantly criticising but offering nothing else.

Labour is doomed which is a shame, but they only have themselves to blame.

    Bart

PS it’s nice seeing the EU with its tail caught between its legs, instead of constantly being critical of and bullying the U.K.
Like Labour, I think the EU project is doomed, as more & more of its members see it for the Non-Democratic state that it is.

Pot kettle black. All you lot say is ****ing Labour this, Labour that. They haven’t been in power 11 years man.

What “hope” do you still need after 11 years of the tories.

And a fool? **** you. I haven’t got personal with anyone on here until that. We all have opinions. I just can’t believe such support for Boris.

Support him and his corruption then. He doesn’t give a **** about us man. You’ll realise one day

It's because they are not spoilt for choice. As a party the Tories have policies. We may not agree with them but they do tell us what they plan to do.

Labour recently have just become an 'attack the opposition' party, without stating any clear guidelines of what they would do. They need a clear plan that the electorate can latch on to.

As someone mentioned earlier, the door should be open for the Lib Dems to lay themselves down as a Centralist party, but they seem to be championing ideals that nobody agrees with, or gives a **** about.

For the good of the country, there should be a credible opposition party. Sadly, at the moment there isn't.

And I don’t disagree with this. However posters on here going on about Labour this & that, and also how they’re corrupt, while completely failing to see what the Tories have been up to. There’s a scandal a week with them. Labour also haven’t been in power 11 years. I also disagree about Labour being solely an “attack” party. If anything they’re being far too soft and toothless as an opposition. The amount that Boris and the tories have got away with is incredible. Starmer is certainly charmless and wet. And I agree they’re just limping along, and not appealing to the voters.

I fear we’ll never get a credible opposition.

I personally can't understand this... Labour are better. Conservatives are better. All labour do is slag off the conservatives. All the conservatives do is slag off labour. It's like an episode of that Kardashian nonsense.

They're exactly the bloody same. Neither party rises above the pettiness of politics and actually makes meaningful reform that moves the country forwards.

It's sad that we are just spinning on this Boethian wheel of misfortune without actually stopping and saying, "hold on, is this centuries old system actually doing much good for anyone?"
