This weekend will be the turning point. Players are coming back from injury, even Diaby and Vermaelen are back in good training and just a couple of weeks away.

The players have had the International Break to clear their heads, and should come back hungry to do well. The start of the season has been forgotten, and they can go into this game fresh and ready to compete.

Sunderland have been on bad form, and Big Game Bendtner is ineligable to play for them.

I fancy this to be a win, and a decent one. Theo is due a good performance, and more than ever before he now knows he has competition for his spot from The Ox, who is in scintilating form.

A solid performance from Jenkinson and he'll start to believe. Gervinho hasn't truely shown what he's capable of yet, Arshavin knows he needs to improve.

The basic building blocks are there. This will be a win, and a good one. I can feel it...can you!?

Yes there is every reason to believe with put in a solid performance, beat Sunderland 3-0 and go on an 8 game unbeaten run. ;) Be positive.

    You know what.

More than the result, more than the performance, more than the chanting and the scoring and the celebrating, I want to see the players play with a smile on their faces. I want to see them enjoy themselves, enjoy playing football, and enjoy being Arsenal.

  6. Y'know what they say.

    Friday is Poet's Day ;)

Actually this weekend's match is an important anniversary because on Oct 16 2004, we went 49 matches without a loss. It could be a good omen. I'll take whatever's good that could be going for us.

Well Spotted Robin, that's good enough for me, time they got the finger out and put a smile back on our faces.
God knows we have had enough misery the past year... I am feeling that Friday optimism and a good win Sunday.

I would be really disappointed if we were beat off you tomorrow. Your season has been far worse than ours and we play better on the road. I'm going for a 0-0 draw. Your lot are too soft and can't deal with sides that rough you up. Wait til Catts clatters you's!

The ref will also be waiting for that. Probaly has his name written on a card before the games kicks off, just needs to fill in what time that idiot gets booked.

This is where we've been going wrong.
Nothing to do with Wenger, the board, City's billions etc etc.
It's Jayram's ****ing fault for not wearing his lucky pants - ****er! <grr>

Doubt Theo will do much to be honest. Sunderland will defend deep and deny him any space to work in and it will be hard for him. I would take the risk and play the OX. Rest Walcott for the away game against Marseille.
