I'm trying to get my head around how the 50+1 thing would work. Does anyone have any idea or opinion on how it would effect Newcastle if Mike Ashley were still owner and the rule was enforced? Could it help us have a voice where we've been ignored? Would we end up having any kind of say over managers? Could it hinder a sale of the club? That kind of thing
I'm not sure it works as a model from scratch, particularly for Premier League clubs. What clubs should do instead is ensure there is fan representation involved. Whether that is in a formal or informal capacity, just ensuring that those views are involved in the decisions made
