    Irish 1000 Guineas Trial
Couple of one raced winners that could be anything but this could go to My Gegegegeneration. Promising debut then bolted up next time out. Then 14th of 15 in a G3 but was eased heavily after going really well and denied a clear run. Of course it is pot luck which O'Brien horse will come out best

    Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial
Mac Swiney has the distinction of having beaten Wembley and One Ruler as a 2yo but may not be as match fit as Bolshoi Ballet who has already shown he has trained on with a G3 win

    15/1 double

I wouldn't put anyone off the Fergal O'Brien double today at Ludlow. Byzantine Empire caught many an eye on hurdles debut when a massive drifter in the market. Today he is to the fore and I think he will go forward from that educational debut.

They've also got Don't Stop Now in the bumper, who will probably be given an education and will need to run to a good level to beat previous winners, however yard are in great form and this one has shown decent ability on the gallops.

    Plumpton 3.35 Kapitaliste

Has shown some promise when 2nd in 2 handicap hurdles this year. Last run over fences can be forgiven. 2lb lower today back over hurdles and with Jamie Moore booked who rides the track well this one should reach a place at least. Jumped left several times at Exeter and throughout at Market Rasen so Plumpton could suit better.

Any opinions on a 3YO gelding called Tenth Century??? The Blake’s claimed him out of yesterday’s Thirsk seller. Currently rated 64 he’s still a maiden after 7 starts.

Did run at Royal Ascot last year (we won’t dwell on how he did!) and seemingly has a reasonable pedigree – half-brother to 5 winners.
