If I remember correctly he scored in that 3-3 thriller at a jam packed Vetch at the end of the 77/78 season when we both got promoted.

I think so - I was on the North Bank that evening - almost directly opposite the Players’ Tunnel

I'm certainly in the " minority " when it comes to serially insulting and demeaning the manager of the club you purport to love so much.

You, of course, revel in the insults hurled at Cooper, as evidenced by the spineless thread you created in his name.

If Cooper is " clueless ", then thank goodness he is else he may have ended up being a keyboard warrior on here and contributing absolutely nothing to the club's cause.

    Have a nice day now.

Me too, great match. Watford were terrific in those days under Graham Taylor.

    Jenkins was a real menace.

It came down to two options : Squibbery or Squibage. I think I made the correct choice.

We walked the Coastal Path yesterday from Mumbles (Dairy Car Park) to Caswell and back.

On the way down, we passed Conor Hourihane - he was waiting to turn into Sainsbury’s at around 9.20am.

Great write-up as ever Taff.. <applause>

Just wondering, as Sky have Derby v Weds on live & all the kick-offs are at the same time i.e. 12:30. Does anyone know if the rest are all available on the 'red button'??

Connor Roberts makes his 150th Swansea City appearance while Steve Cooper makes four changes for the Championship finale at Watford.

Marc Guehi, Jay Fulton, Conor Hourihane and Andre Ayew all start at Vicarage Road, taking the places of Ben Cabango, Korey Smith, Yan Dhanda and Morgan Whittaker following the win over Derby.

Freddie Woodman is in goal, with Guehi joining Roberts, Jake Bidwell and Ryan Bennett in the Swansea back four.

Captain Matt Grimes find himself joined by Fulton and Hourihane as they pair return in midfield.

Liam Cullen retains his place, as does Jamal Lowe, with Ayew back from a hamstring injury to complete the front three.

Watford: Ben Foster, Philip Zinckernagel, Ken Sema, Craig Cathcart (captain), Dan Gosling, Achraf Lazaar, Andre Gray, Isaac Success, Christian Kabasele, Carlos Sanchez, Marc Navarro.

Substitutes: Daniel Bachmann, William Troost-Ekong, Ben Wilmot, Troy Deeney, Joao Pedro, Adam Masina, Will Hughes, Stipe Perica, Francisco Sierralta.

Swansea City: Freddie Woodman; Connor Roberts, Ryan Bennett, Marc Guhei, Jake Bidwell; Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes (captain), Conor Hourihane; Andre Ayew, Liam Cullen, Jamal Lowe.

Substitutes: Ben Hamer, Ryan Manning, Korey Smith, Wayne Routledge, Morgan Whittaker, Yan Dhanda, Joel Latibeaudiere, Kyle Naughton, Ollie Cooper.

Stronger team than I expected - surprised to see Ayew selected.

It was almost 'Return to Sender' (Brendan) a couple of years later, if Huw had done the deal..
