Bruce has done everything that was in his job remit, therefore his boss will be more than happy.
Piss off the fans. Check.
Piss off the players. Check.
Nearly **** up the season. Check.
Nearly **** up the takeover. Check.
Play turgid football most of the season. Check.

Get it right last minute when every man and his dog has been saying what should be happening. Check!

Like it or not, but Bruce's going to get media praise and ultimately he's going to lap it up because he's done well in the end, but the clubs decision to bring in Jones was the turning point and id prior couldn't see the difference then they're short on omega 3.

The difference was immediate and was only hampered temporarily by injuries to 4 of our most crucial players
Comes down to a winning attitude and coaching players.

This in itself proves that Bruce wasn’t doing well prior to Jones coming in.

Says a lot for the coaching staff doesn’t it.

Bruce was in his comfort zone and was taking us down without Jones. That squad is a mid table squad.

It's been ages since we beat Leicester so last night was a long time coming.

Was only 2 years tbh towards the end of raf

I said the day Jones was employed it was a good decision and we'd see an immediate improvement the way they're playing. Me and @Welshie only

The fans were all cry arsing as usual, but if you looked at the clubs he'd been at and the style of football they played like Swansea for example it was obvious we'd improve on the football bruve was serving up.

This isn't Bruce's work and I can make that claim because I highlighted it the day Jones came in.

Charnley got something right

I was mixed about it as I was convinced he was brought in to usurp bruce.

Technically that’s what happened.

Let’s not kid ourselves mind we have only just survived relegation (I think that’s us safe and nearly mathematically aswell).

Credit when it’s due.

Only last week we put on an old style Bruce performance against the Arsenal.

And if not for Willock and his recent last minute goals this could have been a different story!

And at some point Charnley has to get something right at some point right.

They didn’t sack Bruce because they didn’t want to spend the money.

Both of rafas seasons were similar... If this was rafa we'd be lording him.

I don't rate Bruce, but if I'm going to slate him when the sides playing **** then it's only right to say well done at this point.

The fans including me thought if he stayed we'd go down, however the club made the right decisions and we've got to just admit we were wrong.

Hopefully the takeover happens and it's a better replacement or I fear Bruce and Ashley will eventually run out of luck

In his employer's eyes he's done his job, kept us in the division. Whatever we think about him and his tactics etc matters not one jot to Ashley.

I agree.

BUT, if he just sent the lads out to play with no fear every week we would take the poor results.

The Arsenal and Leicester performances are like chalk and cheese.

Wouldn't surprise me If some of the bigger players in the changing room shouted up last week.

There was just so much more about us last night.

I bet the Leicester fans are like “wtf just happened”?

I live in Leicester and that's exactly what their fans thought...<laugh>

My p!ss taking last night was filled with unbridled joy..<laugh>

Dubravka plays a blinder again. His save from Perez was so vital as I believe we would have caved in(again) during extra time added. 4-0 up and we go deep (again) letting opposition take control. Bruce tactics certainly leave a lot to be desired, the man is useless.

Leicester were ****

Didnt get to watch the game live as the link Chaos provided flashed up a "Your Computer will be hacked" message so I stopped. Watched the highlights and looked like we were by far the more incisive team and thoroughly deserved the win. Hopefully Willock gets the nod now every week. I am sure Arsenal will want him back now so just have to use him while we have him.

Went to the pub last night and didn't tune into the updates cos I thought it would be depressing, and was too drunk to remember checking the scoreline when I got home.

Very nice surprise this morning lol. Performance looked good from the highlights on FF.
