Second leg we didn’t let their midfield play, but in first leg we just sat off them and that ****ed us. We should have even scored enough in second leg to win the tie even after the **** show in first leg tbh but like our last couple months, forwards just failed to put away the brilliant chances we created.

We might end up in situation where we are cheering on city in the CL final or United in the EL final on the off chance we finish 4th!!

**** it, let Chelsea win. They've already won it once so who cares. I enjoy laughing at Pep's impotence in Europe without Messi and the frustrations of the billionnaire owners with no European success.

There was no-one in the last 4 that I'd have been happy to see win it, but I suppose either English team is preferable to the other two.

    Other way round for me.

Whilst I dislike Real (abit meh on PSG, other than they're ownership don't really care) at least there is a distance as they are not English clubs. Find it hard to get worked up about them as for most of the time they don't really matter to what is happening to us or around us.

Hate seeing other English clubs do well.

Have to say that I dont mind which wins it. They are both the same in my mind.

I just think.the evidence points to a really tight final with one or.two goals max and the fa cup game.showed us chelsea.can defend deep and frustrate city but hit on break so the formula for the game is set.

Chelsea were always the only team which could upset City. Having said that, City could have a blinder. Has Mahrez overtaken Salah as the best player of Arab descent ? His improvement from Leicester has been phenomenal.

Meh. Mahrez is mahrez. Same as sterling. Give the guy loads of ball and high up the park and things will happen.

Stick him 40 yards from goal and glue him to the touchline like we have for salah and let's see if he scores 20 goals.

Sterling's form is utter ****. He could score 20 from about 100 open goals last year but this year is totally ****. Mahrez is just enjoying a bit better form in a dominant side.

It's in the end all about work rate for me.

so it looks like klopp has at least one little benefit from this little debacle with man utd "fans"

3 of the 4 next games are played at 815pm. at least this gives a bit of consistency to playing time and training times etc. the only wrinkle is west brom at 4:30pm as 3rd game.

    Arsenal are absolutely ****e.

Never came out first half and tried for 10 mins in second half.

Now they look shattered and getting run through.

    Odengard particularly ****e.

Aubameyang is another kane. Unfit and shouldn't be there.

    Tierney is half fit.

Arsenal cant even get out of their half.

Yeah, I was supporting villareal obviously as they were not a shabby dirty dozen team.

Arsenal were atrocious. No energy or will first half. They slept through it then tried a bit for 15 mins? Then just fell apart.

But he'll still whine about the kick-off time. Or the wind. Or the lack of wind. Or the slope on the pitch. Or the star-sign of the referee. :emoticon-0145-shake

Watched the match in amazement. They were so tentative and hesitant for a team that just needed to score a goal. As if they got themselves into a mental muddle on whether to attack or defend.

Imo they fell for the harry kane conundrum

Big game so must start half for players like.aubameyang.

No such thing as launching him For 30mins of maximum effort deadpool style.

No start him..have him snagged out after 30mins, stay on another 40 getting carried then sub your striker for last 10 when needing a goal.

Same as spurs in the final last week

Lacazette was nowhere near fit and he wouldn't have been anywhere near the pitch if it wasn't the semi .
Quite how Arteta has had so little criticism in the press is beyond me as he seems to have no plan of how he wants them to play instead just picks random groups of players and hopes .
