  5. Got to say our Board is now a pretty impressive looking bunch of people......the Byrne and Bain days have been well and truly consigned to history.
I've said it before but it's obvious a best in class team has been put together off the pitch in preparation for a full blown assault on relentless improvement on it.
Exciting times ahead for us fans, without a doubt.

I'm loving it. I'm actually buzzing heading into the playoffs <laugh> which is very strange indeed.

I'm quite relaxed about them tbh. I obviously want us to go up but at the same time I'm exited to see what they do during the summer regardless of what division we are in. I just want to get back to watching live football

I'm the same. Obviously I want us to go up but with the new owners and the systems they're putting place, I don't see it as the end of the world if we don't go up.

  13. I'm dreading another season in this league tbh. I think the summer will be much easier for us in respect of player dealings if we go up. Having so many players out of contract will allow us to retain the one or two we think can make the jump, and then have a clear deck for recruitment.Almost a fresh start. Not so easy if we are still in the third division, where,it could be argued,a number of our current squad should be offered new deals to try again to get us up,but improvement will have to be found in a number of areas. And,like you,I can't wait for live football to return, but I'd much rather be watching us play in the second division than this one.

Would obviously much rather anyone linked to Madrox were long gone but frankly don't care beyond mild annoyance. It's clear as day that KLD is running the show. If Madrox have a "voice" at Director level its because KLD is giving them one as a token gesture (after all they do own 41-ish percent of the club). Doesn't mean they get listened to. But KLD is a professional and wants to do things properly - so giving them a "voice" is the right thing to do.

True, there is always the idea of silencing opponents through corporate responsibility or, in the terms more widely recognised by us business illiterates, it is better to have them on the inside pissing out than on the outside pissing in.
