Willock will come in but it should be for Longstaff or shelvey. Tbh both of those aren't good enough. Shelvey was an absolute disgrace today and shouldn't be anywhere near this club neve mind wearing the armband.
I’d bring our **** players in to make up the numbers. We need all key players fit for the last 2 games.
me too. I avoid his interviews now. The only highlight coming up for me is the potential for our away fans to rip Bruce a new one at the last game of the season.
He's basically conning a living off Wilson and max yet he turns around after today and throws max under the bus. If I was max I'd refuse to play for the **** for that.. I've not doubt if he did Bruce would get rid because that's the type of arsehole he is... He's a bully.
He basically singled him out saying he tried to play to deep and it's something they'll have to work on. They guys a complete moron he keeps throwing players under the bus in post match interviews. Like the story leaked it's never ever him and the players are aware of it.
Steve's a Bengal lancer. Doesn't even have coaching badges. If you were a manager before a certain date that I cba to look up. Today was like watching Sunday league.
Bruce's got no idea how disliked he is. I almost feel sorry for him cis he's just a man doing his best, but he's too negative and he's just no fun whatsoever It's awful its just not enjoyable at all... Rafa was more fun and that's saying quite alot
I think Bruce will play the same side, but he'll drop Almiron for willock and persist with this nonsense playing max and Wilson as a two up front which quite simply doesn't work. It didn't work earlier in the season and max was at his worst I've seen as a nufc player Unfortunately there is quite simply nothing that will see Bruce drop shelvey, so because of that I would think the best we can hope for is that Sean longstaff makes way and not Almiron I also feel we missed Joelinton on Sunday? Say what you want about him, but he does offer a way out from the back.
Pretty much spot on. I can’t figure out why Bruce always has a dig at the wrong players. Never says anything negative about Shelvey. Max was out of position. But he was poor. In fact most where. Leicesters midfield will destroy ours.
I expect some sort of reaction because the players didn't try hard enough, but I suspect they didn't like the plan and didn't fancy it.
I think it'll be another comfortable defeat. Leicester love easy games like this, they play like kids in 5-a-side when the opposition are crap and love putting them to the sword. We're just incredibly predictable with players who are just way too out of touch with modern PL football. Ritchie has instilled some passion, but precious little else. Shelvey has just got worse the longer the season has dragged on, being such a ludicrously one-dimensional player means he's very easy to work out. Longstaff looked like he'd won a Pepsi contest last time out, constantly giving it away and looking knackered in spite of having done nothing all match. Almiron looked lost, but what was most alarming is the second Arsenal got the ball the players literally legged it back to their own goal. The team were petrified of a ****, lightweight Arsenal. We gave the ball away, gave free kicks away, got nowhere near them. Joelinton came on (I promise you, he did) and was ****ing embarrassing - if Longstaff had won a Pepsi contest, Joelinton was his plus one. That lad needs to be sold ASAP for whatever we can scrape back, he's incredibly bad at, well, everything. Not helped by the ****ing cabbage heed himself not knowing where to play him. We ended the match vs Arsenal with 4 at the back, but had 4 CB's on the pitch at the time. Gayle was in CM by the end. That isn't being unpredictable or creative, it's being just plain thick - something we see a lot of with Bruce. So it's Bruce vs Rodgers. Anyone betting on Newcastle needs to see a doctor. I'd go 4-2-3-1: Dubs; Manq, Fede, Clark, Lewis; Willock, Longstaff; Max, Almiron, Murphy; Wilson. Everybody in the right position. We'll play 5-3-2 (again) with at least 3 players out of position and Shelvey on the pitch.
I can't believe shelvey is on the pitch never mind captain! Is there nobody saying "look Steve he's ****"
Didn't bother with Arsenal, probably won't bother with this one either. We are safe, players on holiday mode already, honestly rather watch the traffic go by outside the window then an NUFC with exceptionally little to play for having achieved their goal of safety
