Yep this is what COVID is doing to people. Turning them into divisive looney's not fully thinking things through. If you are going to apply such things to COVID, I can only assume you will place such restrictions on all other ways people knowingly placing a burden on the NHS.

So the list is going to be a long one:
    1. Drinking - huge burden. So under such rules, if you drink, anything remotely related to drinking you should not receive healthcare. Heart Disease, liver issues.
    2. Smoking - huge burden. So again under such rules, if you smoke, anything remotely related to smoking you should not receive healthcare. Heart disease, lung disease.
    3. Fatty Bum Bum - huge burden. If you've decided to get fat or have a BMI over 35 then no treatment for you for anything weight related - so heart issues being a massive killer, huge burden removed again.
    4. Flu - If you are eligible for a jab and don't take it, no help for you if you get it
    5. Pneumonia - If you are eligible for the jab and don't take it, no help for you if you get it
    6. Broken bones etc - If you taking part in extreme sports, skiing, football etc and suffer a break, no help for you, you've put yourself knowingly at risk
    7. Extreme Diarrhoea - If you choose to eat food from a food place with a low hygiene rating, you should not get help for food poisoning because you're an idiot.
    On and on and on.

We can end the NHS crisis in no time. We just won't treat hardly anyone, because most things have a cause, and most of them are through human action. We can probably start laying off hospital staff immediately. Well done they've privatised healthcare without trying, look after the haves eh, **** the have nots <doh> So one COVID Karen thinks its a good idea, and all the other COVID Karens quickly press like. Showing themselves all to be either stupid or inherently evil. Neither is a particularly attractive quality. Never stopped Hitler from pulling mind.

I'd like to think I'm a fairly laid back person who is willing to listen to most points of view and understand that people have a right to disagree. I don't mind that we disagree now and again. However, your failed use of the double negative is unforgivable!! Not only should that bar you from ever receiving help from the state, it should result in you being banned from ever mixing with decent human beings ever again. Fortunately for you any such punishment would not interfere with your ability to post on here!

What about cutting his hands off!! Making it very difficult to type... and nigh-on impossible to leave his house.
Now that's got to be a double win

    Here's one for you

So what about the poor folks that became very-ill and have been hospitalised through receiving the shot...

Are they all worthy of receiving NHS treatment?

After all, it was their decision to take part in this clinical test!

    On a side note,
I've herd that voluntarily taking part in clinical tests! can effect certain insurance policies...

I think you might have missed the sarcasm in my post. The whole point of a National Health Service is that it is there to treat everyone. As far as I am concerned if you are putting pressure on the NHS through unhealthy living practices the government benefits later through shorter pension term payments.

No I get that, I just thought you raised a very interesting point as a sidebar (which I was helpfully unclear about <laugh>). I just find it amusing that we have people posting things like that as a viable and acceptable solution - and others thinking "Yeah that seems fair, I like that". That they are happy to treat their fellow man in such a manner is interesting and probably sums up the COVID effect. As with all things in life you need to apply things equally to all situations as far as possible. So what I presented was simply the logical conclusion of invoking such an approach to how you qualify for care from the NHS. Unless its some sort of COVID Karen approach to proceedings. The Conservatives will love they have people thinking like this, selling off the NHS has been happening for a while anyway.

Good question whether they qualify for NHS free care. Whereas they've had their vaccine, they've taken that knowing it was impossible to say it was 100% safe for all people. So if they are one of the unfortunate ones that end up hospitalised through the jab, I don't think they can claim ignorance.

    Request for healthcare rejected, next...

    <laugh><laugh><laugh>

My message to these Tory types with such crazy ideas due to COVID frenzy is simple

    At the next election...

Stay home, protect the NHS, save lives :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Looks like a classic case of divide and conquer to me. No point reinventing the wheel, it works most of the time.

    fixed<ok>

That's why I decided to post on this thread, I felt that the photos chippy posted were purposely trying to screw the narrative towards an unruly and violent mob, which in my opinion from what I've seen on the clips wasn't the case.

Both sides should be reasonably represented...

I've been having theses recurring nightmares lately, that I'm being chased by a prehistoric caveman swinging his club...
trying to smash my head in...

Terrifyingly he's wearing a 20 years out of date mustard coloured loincloth<sorry>
