Seriously, can anyone think of a more amateur and irritating website than the HDM. Overkilled with pop-ups, the bounce rate of people leaving the site early should be enough to encourage them to sort these problems out but they seem unconcerned. It's alright saying don't read it if that's what you think but it has news of interest when you can finally get to it. I'd advise the person responsible for the site to start looking around at job opportunities - just in case.
Teen stunned as huge hawk homes in on his garden to attack pigeon , This Huge hawk looks like a male Sparrowhawk around the size of a wood pigeon which is what it is eating .He could not believe that one was seen in a town and it must be a rarity in the town .If the Hull daily fail had any journalist working there instead of Facebook watchers they would know that the Sparrowhawk is not huge and is the most numerous bird of prey in the uk.It’s a common occurrence all over the city on a daily basis .So how the hell it makes a story in a local rag god only knows .
Our new man Baz seems to have been dragged down to standard HDM levels already, inaccurate clickbait headlines and complete nonsense transfer stories from Twitter. Wouldn’t happen on Buckingham’s watch.
No a woman complaining about the litter on Anlaby Road took the honour. With a back up piece of journalism about someone tasting a 'Hull patty'. My newsagents had sold out of copies by 8.00 am this morning.
For the on-line site, the headline is about a murder from 1849, a bakery offering big cakes and buns, someone not liking patties, (healthy eating and obesity seem to be missed off), and pictures from Prom night, with a small bit about fans in the park, but the headlines not really mentioning why. They then progress to an old story about a message in a bottle, Hull being messy with no culture and with no irony, two articles about rugby league. Just a bit further down is an article about a Leeds fan dad bribing his lads with stories about Man U to get them to take covid tests. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/
Running a series of articles on fish and chip shops now. Must have been watching this site. The last review mentions gravy with F & C. Chance to merge two threads?
So let me get this right, the football team smashes it out the park and wins the league, and the two local rugby teams both continue their usual dismal form against towns smaller than Hull both losing. Better not highlight sports then in this genuinely world-renowned rugby crazy hotbed.
It's worse, as I edited my post after looking further down to point out they mention a Leeds fan tricking his Man U supporting kids so they'd take the covid tests...
