How many other fans will be thinking in the future that they can help their team in an injury crisis by getting a game postponed?

I am the premier league need these clubs in it unfortunately.

If they had a strong hand the ESL would be happening. It’s not.

I do agree that the punishment would need to be fair otherwise their fans will feel aggrieved and that could then tilt the balance.

 

They do have a strong hand in the premier league it's quite simple.

But there’s a big difference between having a strong hand and a hand strong enough to push the ESL through. The first maybe but much weakened the latter most definitely not.

The PL have to be careful and proportionate. Sadly not something they are famed for.

As Tubbs has been saying there needs to be a thorough investigation into the whole affair including as to who within the PL had prior knowledge and then act.

 

They will eventually anyhow. They are like the lass who keeps threatening to leave you for drinking too many cans. You just have to call her bluff and say ‘go on then **** off’.

Here’s a thought… the Man Utd fans say it’s all about the Glazers draining money from the club…. But if Man Utd had of won the PL or CL last year do you think they would behave the same way?

Perhaps it’s more a case of then being pissed off that they haven’t been hoovering up trophies for a while that’s the main issue….

 

At the end of the day like all clubs these days it's a business.

I am sure people in here have said that if we were doing well we wouldn't mind MA taking money out of the club.

The Glaziers are taking money out but surely they should only be doing that if they were from profits.

 

I'm not saying that quite the opposite I'm saying the reality is they have a strong hand on the premier league and therefore they cannot just be bullied around or they'll just say right ok then we're going ahead.
