And Why I'm I any different to other voters. Plenty of Labour voters say "I've been Labour all my life". You don't have a problem with them. Truth is you hate the fact that the Tories are in and Leave won the Brexit vote.
You aren’t. I was just pointing out that your earlier post was disingenuous. Obviously I hate the fact the Tories are in and Leave won the Brexit vote as neither are going to do any good for the people who are most vulnerable.
That's fair enough. I'm judging him, not on what people are trying to make him out to be but more from his own words and his own actions. He is (in my opinion) everything that someone should aspire not to be.
The vaccine roll-out has been better in Wales than in England. Who should get the credit for that, Boris Johnson or Mark Drakeford? The answer is neither, it's the NHS and thousands of volunteers that have been responsible for the fantastic performance. We should just be thankful that Johnson didn't follow his instincts and hand it Serco or some mate of Matt Hancock.
This is a wrong and jaundiced view. The NHS was able to perform well because the UK government ordered the vaccines early and was prepared to spend money. The EU, of which you are a strong supporter, did neither and seriously let down the citizens of its member states.
I've given them credit for procurement (a blank cheque helps of course) but the credit for the roll-out does not belong to Johnson or his government.
Afraid this doesn't wash with me either - people are quick to blame the NHS' failings on the govt (whichever colour in power at the time) but the successes are always down to the 'wonderful NHS' and never the govt (again, whichever flavour). Can't have it both ways. Much more importantly, I hope all of you with a vote are using your first choice vote for Count Binface this week. You can use a second vote for a serious candidate if you must.
When governments are blamed or praised for NHS effectiveness it's down to funding, This is not a funding issue, but one of performance. How well do you think Serco would have performed based on the Track and Trace fiasco? Should Mark Drakeford take credit for the roll-out in Wales?
it’s a bit like per capita the Tory party members have had more complaints for islamaphobia than labour ever did for antisemetism... yet one seems to be ignored... weird.
Yeah, they chucked loads of money at the procurement and roll out. In fairness T&T also not a complete failure - the trace part has been, absolutely, the test side of things not quite the same.
The money they chucked in was on procurement, not roll-out. Has there been a £37bn injection into the NHS in line with money spaffed up the wall on track and trace? Testing is not much use without tracking and tracing.
