Ultimately an absolutely outstanding season. Records have tumbled all over the place. Some outstanding team performances, especially away from home. Ipswich swatted at their place, Pompey flicked aside at theirs. And the some fine individual efforts, not reflected at all in the shambles of the EFL Team of the season. Honeyman obviously takes the plaudits, but every other player has more then played their part. But as always saving best til last. GRANT McCANN. What a turnaround. Humble pie all around, especially here. His redemption is complete and writes his name in Hull City’s history as only the 4 th manager to manage The Tigers as champions. Thank you Grant, on behalf of the Tiger Nation and a good few mates no longer around for whom this sort of season was only ever a dream. CHAMPIONS
Sad day for one of our greatest managers ever, Phil Brown, relegated from the football league with Southend.
well done city to each and everyone involved, from the manager, players, medics, canteen and all those who support the team. glad terry has redeemed himself for last season's collapse. onwards and upwards. have a good evening everyone
EXCELLENT SEASON.. Surpassed everyone’s expectations...in style. Blunts gone...Wendy’s will follow. Always in our shadow. Allam’s OUT
Champions. Has a nice ring to it. Interesting times ahead. It’s not been dull for the last 20 years. My son thinks it always like this. But as we know fellow tigers it’s been a long journey for some of us UTT
Yup. Had a house full of very excited grand kids all proudly wearing the famous Black and Amber shirts all day. Need a beer....
An excellent season, let's just hope there's a big win at Charlton next week to break the ninety-point mark Depending on Sunderland's result and how our and Peterborough's games go, we could well end the season not only as champions but with the most wins, (joint) fewest losses, as top scorers and with the best defensive record too, and it's not often a team can say that even if they are league winners
And that’s where we need to get back to. The young kids wearing the Hull City kit round this area. A good start my mate .
11 wins and 3 draws in the last 14 games to seal the title. Let's face it - if you are still gibbering on about the end of last season, you aren't concentrating.
