Oh dear oh dear.

 

Oh FFS. That's 5 down.

 

Safe to say that we will be batting twice in this match...

 

We can only hope that our bowlers make the most of the pitch.

 

6 down. This collapse is pathetic. Pitch can't be that bad.

 

That's 4 wickets lost without so much as a run.

 

All our gun batsmen too...

 

We've simply got to find a way of get of getting 150 at least. Something we can bowl at.

 

Don't think that this one will be a draw somehow.

 

Obviously being seven down already is really bad, but the comfort is that it isn't unexpected. For Surrey to bowl first, and us to drop Mason, the signs were there.

Hopefully things will still be as helpful when Abbott and Abbas have a go. Although on paper, Surrey do have a very strong batting line-up (they just haven't quite shown it yet this season).

 

Organ didn't do anything in the first innings of the current second XI match. Got something like 15.

Did get a hundred for St Cross against South Wilts in Southern league recently.

 

Not sure how happy I am about that single being taken off the last ball. Surely we need Lewis on strike as much as possible? And, ideally, hitting out.

 

At least we're not the worst batting side of the day. Warwickshire are 26-6 against Durham.

 

McManus stranded on 31 not out.

 

At least Abbas didn't waste any effort with his batting.
