Table currently looks really embarrassing. We've been poor all season and fully deserve to go down.

Three consecutive losses without scoring just when we needed some fight and resilience.

A pisspoor reflection on the squad, managers and board. Can’t see us getting back up to this league anytime soon.

You should hear Barton's post match interview!

He said "Deep down I will not accept this relegation on my CV"! How up himself can he get!!! He has had more games in charge in the league than the other managers have this season.

He said after the game he spoke to the players and thanked them for their efforts. He said nothing else he can say to the players and probably now won't see them until Thursday! THURSDAY!!!! WTF!!!! Why will he not be seeing them until Thursday? Is this a regular thing under Barton, missing all week from the training ground???? Or now that we are relegated he thinks no point doing training all week? Shocking really.

He also said the players are not bad lads, they’re just not at the required level! How do you think the players will feel after hearing that!

He went on to say that relegation happens in the top divisions if you don't have quality. But that shouldn't happen in the lower divisions as you only need to be fit and organised. He really is having a dig at the club here but again remember, he has been in charge since Feb and managed more games than the others this season. So why haven't they got fit under his stewardship???

    Have a listen.

I just seen the full interview not the short version above!

He also said if he could he would get rid of the whole squad and start fresh building the team from the ground up as would be easier but he can't because players are under contract. He added if some of those players don't come back in top top top shape ready for preseason then they won't be at the club.

He went on to say that "we have a loser dressing room and I don't like hanging around with losers and I don't like associating with losers" :emoticon-0104-surpr

He said "our centre half's today were losing headers against wingers. If they are losing headers to wingers then what chance do they have against hairy ass L2 centre forwards". I guess then that means new defenders!!!

He promises that the team and club will look unrecognisable come August.

    Here is the full interview...

Like you. I hadn't realised it was an early kick off either - missed the entire game, and can't remember having such a pleasant, stress free Saturday afternoon for ages!! No getting frustrated, no scrutinising other results, no feelings of despair and helplessness - all in all a very pleasant afternoon having nothing to do with the wasters representing the Gas at the moment. Hopefully by the time we can return to watch games, most if not all of them will be long gone!!

Just watched the highlights on Sky of the Swindon MK Dons fixture, thought some of our defending has been poor with the players looking disinterested but their defence just didn't seem to want to bother

Grimsby relegated from league Southend join them if Scunthorpe get 1 more point

Northampton and Rochdale played 44 points 44

    Wigan played 44 points 48

GD Northampton -23 Rochdale -19 Wigan -20 Going down bottom 4 as it stands I reckon.

If anybody can get tonight's points west there was a interview with Wael Al - Qadi if they didn't catch it

Saw the Wael interview earlier - personally I really take to the bloke, think his heart is definitely in the right place, he comes across as an honest, decent, genuine owner who we owe an awful lot to, and we are extremely fortunate to have him as the owner of our club. I do feel however that he realises now that he maybe put too much faith in others where major decisions were taken, and I got the impression that he has learned the hard way that he maybe needs to retain more of a say in what goes on in certain areas. Seems he is backing JB fully at present, and although I know not everyone shares my opinion of him, personally I am glad he looks like he will be given the chance to work with players he recruits or retains himself. On another matter, I see Cheltenham got promoted to league 1 this evening - managed a home draw which was enough for them to go up. Good luck to them next season, haven't got an issue with Cheltenham (unless we're playing them), and will be interesting to see how they cope next season. Funny isn't it, I find myself pretty disinterested in our last 2 games now whereas normally I'd be looking forward to the next game by now - guess we're all the same. Doesn't matter if we finish 24th or 21st in the league, so the next 2 games are meaningless for us.

The secret to Cheltenham's success? They switched to 352, which all the players understood - all season - and then used 451 to close out the games if they needed to tighten things up. The point being, they had a plan, which the players understood and they stuck to it, and over the season they got better and better at it. That's exactly what Clark and Coghlan did. I hope Barton has the sense to use the players he's got, to realise that there's always a dip in quality at that level, and then go for the consistency and continuity that get's teams promoted from League 2. I'm sure quite a few players need to go, but if Barton keeps blaming individuals and does not take responsibility for his part of the bargain, then we need to worry. His honours as a manager include a manager of the month once apparently. Good luck to him.

Meaningless for us but shouldn't be meaningless to Barton and the players. They should be trying to end the season giving their best for the shirt and to try and right some wrongs. They owe the fans 100%. Barton should be using these 2 games to try out some players that he has given no chance to. Hargreaves for example. Or Mehew. So I am disappointed to hear that Barton gave all the players the week off and returned back to training on Thursday. Not sure sure how that will have helped (apart from having some rest). Certainly wouldn't have helped try and fix defensive issues or fitness issues or any issue because they haven't been around. Im pretty disgusted about this.

Watching the match on I follow pity the performances are not as good as the playing surface

1 - 0 down another mistake by Baldwin

Northampton Rochdale and Wigan all losing

Cannot believe we are only 1 down we are being so outplayed it's unbelievable

AFC and Swindon also now losing

Aguero is available on a free at the end of the season think we could sign him got a great goal in Man City's win today reckon he could do job for us

Perhaps he's at a loss about what to do with this shower - having them in all week training etc hasn't done a scrap of good all season, they're still crap come matchday. Maybe he thought he'd try something different and give them all a rest - can't do any harm. Oh hang on, we're still crap come matchday!! Here's a thought - bin the bleeding lot off after the Blackpool game, re-employ a handful on a revised contract and start building from scratch again. It's the only way we will survive league 2 next season!

Hanlan appears to have done his hamstring

4 minutes extra if it was 4 hrs I still don't think we would score

City lost 4 - 1 change of manager not doing them a lot of good either
