At the moment you could put Aguerro in there but he'd struggle. Now if we could get him and Foden................
Glen’s views and a link in there for his targets for midfield https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...s/expected-cardiff-city-transfer-ins-20465407
Another one touted Does he have a long throw https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...cardiff-city-west-brom-middlesbrough-20467745
Seems our target men need to be able to head the ball and our wide men be able to throw the ball further than they can kick it. You do wonder whether WoL just chuck out names based on what we do today or think about how we will play tomorrow. Really hope more thought is going into our midfield than anything else.
Weren't we after him from Wigan when we signed Moore from them? https://www.footballinsider247.com/...ace-to-sign-sheffield-wednesday-star-windass/
I think that was rumoured a couple of years ago. At 27 not a youngster but an established performer at Championship level and still a few good years ahead of him. Plays off someone like Moore as either a no. 10 or second striker so brings versatility. Could be a good choice and better than Rhodes or some of the lower league strikers suggested.
hiya pal, just using a stick now but trying to walk without as much as possible, so maybe a cameo for the last 20 mins so far hahahha
Good job we've got Mark Robins then, always likes to bring through young, handy players!! mind, at 67 not sure which category I fit into now
Rumour resurfacing .Surely we can do better? https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...cardiff-city-make-approach-sheffield-20517948
But can we afford better? A good solid Championship player with some versatility. He can play as a no. 10 or striker. We won't have Wilson next season and who knows about Tomlin? There is also a physical side to his game which suits us. So that's a yes from me and bring Reach as a bogof as well.
Early days BfB - there’ll be plenty more speculation in the coming months. Mind you if MM is to raid Wednesday then how about Paterson
Mick reckons in the media he doesn't need a playmaker replacement for Wlson - he's got Jonny Williams for that role.
Wednesday are are in big trouble, wages have not been paid to the players for 3 months. How does this affect their contracts.
I guess at some stage they can walk as payment of wages is implicit to their contracts. I assume the PFA will become involved as it unravels.
