when he stops having a cob on. if that's next week so be it.

we all know what he is capable of, talk of brutn out and such is all a load of balls IMO. once he mans up and gets his head right he will get support.

Small gap between games plus huge injury list ... this season hasn't been kind to us ...

Just out of interest, how many games did Van Dijk and Thiago miss after their injuries from the Everton game and what happens to our spot on the graph then?

    Good question:

Thiago missed around 16 games due to injury
VVD has missed 38 games ...

    Stats below are before WBA:

We are seeing a remarkable period of production from the press that we haven't previously come close to in the whole Klopp era.

The climb started with the Wolves away game which was the first time Fabinho & Thiago played more than an hour together in centre mid. Huge pressing games vs Arsenal and United with the pair and a decent one vs Saints.

Small samples but Fabinho and Thiago are making a big impact in midfield:

Since Trent was dropped by Southgate, he's been on another level:

Everton was the fifth game and we've still two to play so shouldn't that be 31...?

I think it covers cup games as well.

Thiago made a massive number of interceptions IMO

He's a big presser and is good at that side of the game. He got labelled as defensive liability because of a few poorly timed tackles when he first joined, and plus he was being asked to do more defensive stuff because Fabinho wasn't there.

With Fabinho back, we have that anchor in midfield to allow players like Thiago and also Trent to flourish.

This season is ridiculous. The fact that we're still in the top 4 race is unbelievable. We would be walking the league if we had our full team.

The stats do not back that up. Even with 10 of our first 11 we were never on the 90 point level

    We should be second though.

We were top around xmas / New Years. Then the last one of our senior centre backs was injured and it went to sh*t. I will die on this hill - we win the league if our defence wasn't decimated.

We were averaging well above 2 points a game for the first and final 1/3's of the season. The middle period completely destroyed us and it started as soon as Matip went off injured vs WBA.

    C'mon. Dont kid a kidder.

Christmas was actually not even half way into the season and city were already catching us hand over fist.

They have completely shut down once the title was won to focus on the cl.

The blocks of 4 do not lie. We were never ever on for 90 points and city have not even needed get close to that.

Played 15 points 32 on boxing day.

Extrapolate that form out and its 81 points.

That's not winning the title. And certainly not what you said we would do, walking the league?
