What is that small battered thing next to the anaemic chips and almost unbuttered bread?

I feel sorry for thr person who asked for fish and chips and got that? There's not even any bloody curry sauce!!

The absence of curry sauce is the only good thing about it.

Worst looking plate of fish and chips I've ever seen! You need to tell us where it is so we don't go.

That’s strange I played football with Dave Burdett and we both left Trinity House in 1963 and joined Hall Bros Steamship Co of Newcastle. Dave was shipwrecked on his first voyage on the MV Ambassador which sank in the Atlantic after leaving Philadelphia with grain. Dave survived and we later sailed together on the MV Melbrook.
Last spoke to him a few years ago when he was working in Holland. Before going to sea I played for Hull YPI, and Played Sunday League at 15!

I started playing for Wakam in the 60s as a temporary stand in and ended up playing for them and Anlaby Park Rangers for over ten years. I remember when we bought our first proper kit (red and black stripes) and one of the lads took his new shirt home for his mum to wash and she used Domestos. The next week we had our photograph taken and we had 9 in red and black and 1 in pink and grey. Great fun in those days with hangovers having a big effect on our team performance.

Played for Cottingham Rangers prob 1974-76. Played against Neil Thompson who is with Wednesday coaching set up now after his football career. I was in goal. Had 10 put passed me first one by Thompson. He played for a team called East Riding Juventas. Kind if an elite team. Think Ken Houghtons son also played for them.

What's everyone's present valuation of the club. There obviously isn't a lot of money about at the moment ,but i value the first team squad at around £25 million. So with the club having no debt it seems to me the allams should be able to get their gift back comfortably
