Can Gills follow up yesterday's victory at Peterborough United, with another 3 points against Northampton Town?

Northampton need this more than we do, and they beat Ipswich 3-0 in their last game.

Good Morning All. WOWWWWW how lucky were we Tuesday Evening results above us going right except Charlton and Posh missing about 14 goals.
Thought Syco done his homework the coms team said he had been watching them a lot recently seems it paid off.
    Now to today's game.
The Cobblers need this as much as we do to keep the special place alive. Their last 5 away matches Hull, Charlton, Doncaster, Posh, and AFC W.
By no means easy, top 2 teams and 2 others pushing for the playoffs.
I have watched the December match several times now, we had a long break considering Xmas and New Year fixtures, 10 days in total.
There were many rumours a lot of our squad were on the lash due to the long break and the very poor form showed that. They virtually strolled the whole match.
We have lost twice in our last 4 a draw and a win. Overall 114 matches lost 54 won 42 with just 19 draws.
I feel we have matured as a unit over the past few months, luckily with no injuries which have helped.
If we had a crowd today I think MEM would be full to the gunnels.
But this is going to be a FIGHT and we are one of the toughest fighters in Div1 we are the Muhammid Ali of the league.
WE WILL DO IT FOR MEDWAY WE WILL DO IT FOR KENT BUT ABOVE ALL WE WILLLLLLLLLL DO IT FOR GILLINGHAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Even money for a home win it's like having the Bank of England in your back garden, GO PRINT MONEYYYYYYYYYYY lump it on skin the bookies.

    MKB 3 v 1 Cobblers ( Akinde, Oliver x 2 Hoskins)

I have a memory of this fixture on 8th September 1998 I was Head Chef for WestStar International. A holiday Estate company based in the west country approx 20 sites.
I was based on the Looe Bay site in Cornwall.
We had an influx of tourists from Northampton, so I arranged for my Gillingham radio channel to be aired over the bar speakers.
The bar was full, plenty of beer being drunk and lots of bar meals ( normally a quiet time)
We scored very quickly, there I was chanting which was brave as I was the only supporter. A quick equaliser saw me go very quiet. It stayed that way till the second half. They scored very quickly, which now saw me disappear into the kitchen. Then we equalised and I returned, chanting as loud as I could.
We were all over them and several near misses. Then the Devil cast his spell and they scored and we lost 3-2.
barrels of beer had been supped on what would normally have been very quite.
The Owner of the company arrived and asked me what had I done???????? Where have all these people come from???????
I explained, expecting to get the sack and she said all our sites will now start showing matches if this is what we can expect.
She gave me a small pay rise very unlike DEBORAH MEADEN yes she was my boss. A very fair and honest boss to boot.
I finished my second season and thanked her for all her help and information and Deborah for that reason IM OUT.
I went off the next year took on a catering franchise on a large holiday estate in Polperro. And the rest is history.
I went on to build my catering company from there.
I hope the result is not this same this afternoon
