Personally I wouldn't risk Mcgeady. If we are reliant on him to beat them then we dont deserve to go up.
Suppose, as it's "just" a superficial injury then there's no real risk other than his foot knacking the next day
cracking bit of news so many players nearing a return, hope they get back in time for the few games we have left
good observation Tees and maybe that's the reason Wyke hasn't be scoring, if Aiden has pain when passing, or the injury was affecting his passing ability.
You just know that Geads' feet would be trampled right through the game if he played on Saturday. There would be so much swelling that either Geads wouldn't be able to walk or that he would have to wear some size 24 clown shoes!
I wouldn’t risk any player at this stage either. The chances of an automatic spot virtually disappeared after only drawing with Hull, the chances of the play offs are practically guaranteed, we just need to make sure we have as strong a squad possible for them. Finish 3rd or 6th is irrelevant once you’re in the play offs. Finishing 3rd might be good for confidence, but not many teams who finish 3rd manage to go up.
McGeady will know if he needs to sit this one out to be totally recovered , as long as we show the same spirit as v Hull we'll be ok. great to hear Sanderson wants to finish the season with us, lets hope he can. All about the final push now, playoffs or otherwise.
There's no need to risk Mcgeady. Jones has done just as good a job when he's been on the left wing imo.
Tend to agree. If we had no options then we might risk him, but with Gooch, Diamond, Maguire and Jones all fit there seems no point in risking him
square pegs in round holes, all season. It was always going to catch up with us at some point. as i've said before, anything we achieve this season will be a lucky bonus. But there's no excuses next season at all.
Is that O’Nien? Keeper was silent and should be screaming leave it. He does that, O’Nien doesn’t head it and og never happens! Second goal is on Burge for me
