I like Almiron, he’s a good honest lad who works hard, he’s also dangerous running with the ball but he lacks the decision making needed to be a top player that’s why none of the big clubs have come for him
I wouldn’t touch he with a barge pole. But she looks a nice lady. The kind who bring you tea and biscuits.
He does but at least he confirmed I was right and others were just assuming/making things up to suit an agenda. I like being right all the time.
Big hole in your argument here. Shelvey also played the first half in which we were very good. Shelvey wasn't mind, I'm not sure he found a black and white shirt. So what was the difference? The overall collective effort. If you're hoping a manager can come in to replace Bruce and suddenly make these players put full 90mins in, I think you're gonna end up very disappointed. Aside from all the bluster, the bottom is the players are on the pitch and they shouldn't need to be hand held through every game. So regardless of the manager, whether it be Jurgen Klopp or Steve Bruce, players simply must take responsibility if you want to get anywhere. You can guide them all you like some of it has to come from within. That game changed because our players attitude changed. That's not on the manager as much as people like to pin everything on them. Its about the stamp of player we have. I guarantee you if you got a top manager in he'd change the personnel.
The good thing is we don't really have to worry about Bruce or these very average players much longer.
I'm happy with Ashley tbh... I sat and looked and the clubs activity since our last relegation and reached the conclusion there's been a huge improvement from Ashley since then. The appointment of Bruce was stupid, but he's pumping in money and they made a very good choice to bring in Jones rather than sack Bruce and employ another idiot like wilder for example.
I'm not. Because we will continue to underinvest on the playing staff, we will continue to appoint managers like Bruce, Rafa, Pardew etc. Basically out of work negative ****ers. We will continue to underfund the scouting. We will continue to have the minimal numbers of coaches (Graeme Jones only arrived after a plea from Bruce), we will continue to underinvest in the development of young players. Ashley has kept the club bobbing above water. For all he's a hated man, and despite his open admission he has no interest in the club, he has continued to do the bare minimum rather than let the club truly rot. So he's job done and now we need investment. Fortunately the Saudi Takeover is going to happen for me. I think it'll have to or there will be a big problem.
I'm going to go back whether it happens or not.. Ashley will get another buyer.. I just hope its not out the frying pan and into the fire.
