This is a very decent bumper and there are a few I like but this ones pedigree leapt off the page. Ticks most of the boxes when looking for a bumper horse. Dam a bumper winner, full brother a bumper winner. Looks like being very well supported.

    1:00 Three Bullet Gate

Wouldn't be surprised if this horse runs a big race for each way purposes today.

Yard has had 5 in the money from 10 starts in handicap chases at Huntingdon over the last 5 seasons.

The horse will surely strip fitter after a comeback run over a trip propably to short at Southwell in a hurdles race last time out.

On a career low mark (good 4th in a class 4 handicap hurdle of 10 lb higher 2 years ago).

Yard had a big priced runner at Huntingdon in handicap hurdle last week (Black Kalarosa) who didn't run a bad race when 5th of 14 so could hit a bit of form now

Hopefully the 2nd wind surgery will have a positive effect for Three Bullet Gate

    Torrent Des Mottes

Course regular who has won at this track in march 2019 and march 2020. Last time out at Huntingdon wasn't a bad perfomance when disputing 3rd home turn under todays 7lb conditional and finishing 5th (weakened 2 out) over 2 m 4 f. Down to 2 m 1/2 could be the right move and handicap mark gives him every chance of reaching a place at least. 18/1 on offer at the moment.

    4:45 Adimelo @16/1 5 places

This one takes a bit of explaining, but basically I think he’s been getting stuck in the mud and hasn’t been fully fit.

He returned from a break at Ffos Las when running well above his odds, trading at a quarter of his SP. He didn’t pick up when asked for his effort that day.

Similar happened at Hereford last time, he travelled nicely on the front end, he was asked for his effort between three out and two out and he got all of the field off the bridle. He lasted quite a while and again traded much shorter than his SP, before given a gentle time after his chance had gone.

He is back on less demanding ground and his form from Exeter in October would suggest that this should help. He is dropping down the handicap as well, despite running promising races and I think he has been overlooked today.

I am hoping the race is run at moderate pace and he gets a tactical advantage and his young jockey can be a bit more patient in asking for an effort.

    Feodora

Before she finished 7th of 15 in a novice hurdle over 2 m 4 f at Newbury in testing conditions Oliver Sherwood wrote on his site about the horse:

"Feodora ran well enough last time out here on similar ground, she looked as if she might hold on for fourth before tiring badly from two out. It was her first outing of the season so she was entitled to improve for the run given the testing conditions.

Feodora is a good looking mare who works nicely at home, she’s an out and out galloper who would get further than this and might fare better in handicaps."

Today over 3 m 1 f on her handicap debut with the yard in really good form its worth taking an each way chance that she gets a place at least.

Trainer speak for slow as a boat and we want to take more money from the owners with the hope the horse can get well enough handicapped to run a decent race.

In the opener at Wetherby Kisumu could finally get his head in front. The bottom wight is a long standing maiden but ran his best race in this corresponding race last year and the Micky Hammond yard has been hitting the cross bar over the last couple of days with three horses finishing 2nd, and three finishing third. Kisumus course form at Wetherby reads 33P2 so if he ever will get his nose in front its propably there.

In the opener at Taunton runs The Rain King who cost 250,000 gns and started his career for the O'Brien/Tabor combo with an Irish 2000 Guines entry. Obviously didn't lived up to high expactions in Ireland but could be one for the NH game. Charlie Deutsch a good jockey booking who will propably try to lead all the way.

    Huntingdon 3-10 Emma's Dilema £50 ew

    #1487
Reebok, Yesterday at 7:14 PM ........... if only it was real money <laugh>

Sorry not to post but it's a cliff horse owned and trained by friends - I general meet up Hannah and her family a few times a year. And to be fair Hannah didn't fancy Emma's chances today, although I only just found that out! I did have a small ew on ED, so it's not all bad!

Her Junior Massini runs in the bumper - she says 150-1 is probably about right <laugh>

Galactic Power in the 4.45 Taunton looks to have a solid each way chance given the consistancy last 4 runs where he earned minor money for the Robin Dickens yard

Three Bullet Gate runs in the 1:30 at Warwick today and I've the feeling it could be worth to have a small each way again. The horse didn't run bad last time out at Huntingdon in my opinion when racing prominently/disputing the lead for a long way. The yard's Black Kalarosa nearly missed a place at big odds in a handicap hurdle yesterday so hopefully Three Bullet Gate will run well too today.
