I've seen this view alot today, but if you stop and think about it they'll just turn around and say "hah right ok then ya ****s were off to join the super league again"

Sadly this is like a treaty where we need them to stay and so do the premier league and eufa.

There's **** all can be done other than maybe a token fine to look like they've done something

You do realise that you have to be facing that green area in the middle of the stadium in order to watch the match, don’t you?

There was a guy on here that loved tiote.. I think it was just his attitude and tackles he liked..

I just think he was poor mate.. He was good with Cabaye the combo worked but once Cabaye left the real Mr tiote was exposed

I think if it happens the reaction will be worse than ever.

Footballs not going react well to it as its still sore and angry.

Seems to me the PL has more reason than before to say no.

"Look what happens when we let money and investors run amok in our precious league. Mike's a good bloke, too."

There's not a chance in hell of them letting the Saudis in.

The fact MBS is the chairman of PIF really is hard to see past.

I'm happy to wait for another buyer.

Gentlemen - gentlemen, gentlemen, gentlemen... yes, we all recognise things have been, and could be, worse. Let’s take that as the first agreement.

Do we want things (for NUFC) to be better? Yes - agreement number 2

Do we believe that a multi billion pound ownership would make ‘better’ possible? .... we’ll get less sure here, but I hope we agree it would be at least ‘possible’... if behaviour was principled and avoided an ESL type appetite.

Do we believe a multi billion pound ownership would make NUFC’s ‘better’ an actual guarantee? Obviously not, we’re not idiots!

Do we believe it’s worth the risk?

and that’s the Million dollar question to which NOBODY knows the answer ... my own response is you don’t know till you try; I saw no evidence that PIF wanted anything other than a good, wholesome sportswash, without rocking the boat ... the boat trembles were getting higher finishes and winning trophies (within the existing structure).

Given the choice of the race for 17th v something else, I’d very much want to give ‘something else’ a go. The worst that happens is a relegation; and we’ve been there ... so **** it.

There’s no absolutes, no guarantees, and maybe that’s part of why we love the club and the game.... we are a family, we love the unknown - we can argue about our beliefs, but we can’t deny each other’s dreams

And NUFC fans are deluded, and we don’t know how lucky we are to have Big Steve, and we aren’t Big 6, and we’re not London based, and we aren’t successful in cups, and we are bottom half year on year, and we make up the numbers, and good players stay for 2 seasons, and we should know our place, and if we want better then we should get rich (like wot Rio did) - or we should shut up, and we’re not Sunderland/Wigan - so we should shut up, and making up the numbers ought to satisfy us ... you could be in League 2, is that what you’d prefer? Etc etc etc

**** it all, let’s decide that it’s good to want more, it’s a sports club, we’re not nicking food from babies

    There’s going to be a bit of a journey now. Over the next 48 hours, Cap’n Wrong/Tiote will, in sequence I think;

    i) eviscerate my views quite convincingly
ii) point to news story/tweet that validates his rejection of my views
iii) show signs of softening and ‘wanting’ to agree with me
iv) back away from that ‘want’ due to fear
    v) return to me due to wanting to hope (the ‘inverted S of hope’)
vi) embrace me as a lover/brother because my steadfastness has excited him
vii) stab me in the back because he feels so confused by the emotions I’ve raised - the violence will be extreme, everybody please stay calm and don’t intervene
viii) collapse exhausted on his bed and rock back and forth for a bit
ix) change his mind, a bit

I love him. He makes it a joy to be here and obviously loves NUFC. I think that man is a microcosm of supporting the club. Which is why he ain’t heavy, he’s my brother
