    Good Morning

What a match tonight is. We have to do something we have not done in a long while, beat them and beat them at home.
We had not beaten Oxford at the Kassam in a long while, we had not even scored a goal. So 2 goals was a massive improvement on past form.
Boro has a massive home win stat lost only twice all season. Blackpool and Hull. And sadly I would not put us in the same category as those.
I have all day to think about what I feel about tonight's game.
I think the SYCO will be on form on the trip up and without doubt during the match., Tonight sponsors should be WRIGHTS COAL TAR SOAP.
Hopefully for a massive slip up and the gaffers lovely choice words
    KEEP THE FAITH UTG

Gills don't 'do' 2 goal leads !..... and my older son knew we'd beat Peterborough after he saw the state of the pitch !
Having been critical of the last 6 +5 minutes of the Oxford game, I feel it only proper to express my appreciation of the performance against Peterborough last night.
The quality on show wont win The European Super League - but the commitment was the 100% that I expect -- well done Gills.

I suppose, on Saturday, at 2-0 up, any team could be forgiven for being a bit 'defensive.' -- but Gills simply struggle to retain a 2 goal advantage. I have researched the records of the last 25 years, and found many occasions when we threw away a 2 goal lead.... but rarely have we recovered from such a deficit (( I'll let brb tell you of one occasion when we did it twice in one match. ))

.... my son reckons that Peterborough's pitch (( it is in a shocking state )), was well suited to our style of hoofball - where the ball seemed to stick in the mud if it was played on the ground (( I said ground - not grass ! ))https://www.skysports.com/watch/vid...llingham/12282075/peterborough-0-1-gillingham
