This was absolutely our season. I would call it criminal that this squad have failed to get promoted. To have done so 3 seasons is quite remarkable really.

He's just come back from injury and he's in a back four with two CMs and McFadzean, not many players would thrive in that situation. He's a good defender.

All I can think is that Hume is not yet fully fit, at least that's what I hope, for we will need Hume at Wembley if we are involved , keep picking this clown and it could be the end of LJ's tenure imo.

All about opinions obviously but I think he's poor, in a back four. He was before he got injured. Ok in a back three but since Johnson came in and played a back four he's a different player.

We played well tonight. Mcfadzean was very poor and that cost us. Shame, playoffs it is then. We never make it easy do we!

2 points from 15 at the business end of the season. How depressing, annoying and ENTIRELY predictible

Same with Connor I think its so obvious stick Sando between those two and the defence is fixed gu=ives us an extra man in the middle of the park. job fixed. I would also like to see patterson in goal as well he has a safe pair of hands and unlike Burge comes out for crosses which also helps defenders now and again.

    well....cheers again RTB...

not one to have a pop at players for the odd bad game but mcfadz is making too many mistakes for my liking, basically gave the lad a free run outside him to get crosses in, maybe told not to let him onto his left foot but still allowed him far too much space as he did with almost every attack down 'his' side.

when you see the ref actually delaying blowing his whistle as he has to check with a lino every time, he should not be on the pitch imho, worst one was when the bloke stood in front of diamond and stopped his run, i honestly thought the ref had let them play on as we kept the ball then he eventually blew and gave them a free kick...also, can someone explain to me how so many free kicks are given against us when we float a ball into the box from a free kick/corner?

unlucky (again) not to win this one, keep that kind of momentum and the play offs will not be a worry...hard to see exactly how or why hull are getting so many wins, maybe they had a night off but they looked no better than teams we have beaten easily this season, just goes to show the squad is causing it's own problems.

there was also that time when thier lad raised his arm to jones' face to stop him getting past, always thought a raised arm to the face was a red, every time gooch tried to get past his man he was brought down then taking the lino's flag and throwing it to the ground they were lucky to finish with 11...you really do sometimes get the feeling that there is some bias.

I think he's a bit limited as a footballer but he's the kind of blood and thunder defender you need at least one of at CB and he's done a good job for us. Probably fair to say that all our CBs including O'Nien and Sanderson have looked better as a back 3.
