I put that earlier mate can you a imagine a televised match and all you can hear is you dirty greedy bastards for 90 minutes
Me too. Those owners don’t need the money, they’ve done wonderful work for the community as a whole and built a sensational football club. As soon as I seen there fans last night saying ‘we loved these owners we thought they understood us’ I thought ‘they will bail’. Liverpool, well that’s a fans club, in the same way we are, Toon are, Leeds. The kickback on them would totally destroy all that club stands for. Will be those 2 for sure for me, they’ve the most to lose.
Stolen I for one can't wait for the European Super League. Give us more chance to watch exciting games between the "big six" like these thrillers from this season: Man City 1 Arsenal 0 Man U 0 Chelsea 0 Man U 0 Arsenal 1 Chelsea 0 Tottenham 0 Man U 0 Man City 0 Liverpool 0 Man U 0 Arsenal 0 Man U 0 Tottenham 0 Chelsea 1 Arsenal 0 Man City 1 Chelsea 0 Man U 0 Liverpool 0 Chelsea 1
I would absolutely be delighted now if the premier league say oh! You’ve changed your mind after seeing the reaction from fans that’s a shame because we don’t want you money grabbing bastards back again so f uck off.
I mean who doesn’t want to watch an average of .45 of a goal per game fans will be queuing for days to get a ticket for such excitement
I think that KLD should issue a statement saying we, SAFC, have no intention of joining this European super league.
You’d love them to have the balls, but gotta think of the fans. Innocent cannon fodder. Pep was very good there, expected nothing less from him.
Aye you are right there haven’t seen any of their fans for it but I reckon they’ve opened up a right can of worms now. can you see it being normal again?
Reputational damage. Can always be sorted over time. The Liverpool owners will be hounded out, fans already dislike them.
That's a point I made last night. The viewing figures for the Championship are excellent, as are the attendance figures for The Championship. In fact, they are better than some of the 'major leagues' in the world. If these lot are expelled, football will carry on regardless in this country. There are still a helluva lot of very well supported clubs in the top 3 divisions. The Big 2 in the North East will become 2 of the top 5 supported clubs in the country, and hopefully that will be great for future investment.
If it does go ahead, I can see the level of support increasing massively for Tranmere, Salford and AFC Manchester Saw the following on Twitter: The 14 non-ESL teams in the EPL could vote to expel the six ESL members for breaking Rule L9, which says members can only play in board-approved competitions.
Absolutely mate. You’ve already got FC United of Manchester from the fans disgusted that the Glazers were allowed to finance the club against itself, it’s not a stretch to see them supporting a local side at all.
