Sky/BT/Amazon etc could all come out and say that they oppose this too and will not be bidding for any TV rights deals. I suspect Amazon might actually be up for it being an American company actually. I can't see them offering to stream the games for free nor can I see fans paying to watch them (over and above everything else we have to pay for to watch footie) if they are so dead against it all in the first place.

    Money talks though innit?

I read they're negotiating with the Saudis for TV rights.

Sickening given the 6 clubs involved were so against a Saudi takeover at nufc

They aren't going to be kicked out the premier league and I believe somewhere in the background they've been given assurances that can't happen, otherwise they'd not have thrown themselves under the bus.

I really hope so, but look at the faces on Charnley etc.

I personally believe these clubs wouldn't have done this unless they knew they couldn't be stopped or kicked out the domestic leagues.

I also believe the opposition has been informed they're powerless. I believe they're now simply appealing to these tyrannical arseholes better nature and unfortunately that will fall on deaf ears.

Football is finished in the form we know it.

In 20 years time these 20 clubs and even the likes of La galaxy will be huge franchises and the global fanvsse won't care one bit about what was before

In the last 24 hrs they opposition has gone from we'll kick you out to please don't do this and that's quite telling

Let them go, who cares, kick them out the league, expunge their records, write them out of history and let everyone else carry on with the current set up. When they have minimal viewing figures, no one in the stadiums they will lose all their backers and sponsors for this **** show and fold.

Madrid and Barca are on the brink of going bust and this is their only way of paying off the massive debt their owners have got them in. It will be interesting to see if Spain bails out the clubs once this all falls through and they declare they are going under. Let them sink, start again like Wimbledon, Rangers, Bury etc have had to do when it goes wrong. only have themselves to blame.

The premier league won't be kicking them out.

If the premier league were going to they wouldn't go ahead with it

The other clubs have been informed

The remaining 14 clubs should make a other league altogether if the premier league don't kick them out

They have already entered, no written permission - there's nothing to do but kick them out now.

We can easily replace them. 6 teams leaving is not the end of the world.

Could the "14" not simply vote them out of the PL. You have to be a member to play in the PL. Vote the Greedy Six out and vote six other Clubs in. Think a 2/3 rds majority required for such a vote. That's why, I think Everton and Villa (?) were invited to be in the Big Eight in regard to the Big Picture proposals.

Not looked it up to see if it's possible but it's a thought.

Three clubs were invited, West Ham, Villa and Leicester, to sway votes they wanted to hold, for exactly that reason.

I can only think that they WANT out of the PL, but don't want to be the "bad guys". Well, that **** backfired.....

The franchises clearly thought PSG, Dortmund and Bayern were coming with them - those 3 have dropped out/not signed up for what ever reasons and wil lbe ****ting a brick in terms of who will replace them. There will still be plenty of money in the current format regardless of these 12 clubs who think they are bigger than they are across Europe so just get rid.

I agree I believe this is the lies they're talking about.. I think they were told psg, Bayern, Porto, leipzig and dortmund would agree to it.

The fact they haven't poses them a problem because they know those clubs would be going up against them in one way or another...

It can be stopped, the clubs need to vote on it today and do something strong.

Masters is a worm, but they can vote and do it without him.

Also a Saudi takeover at nufc would help, but tbh that's the least of my concerns right now..

Essentially theres some serious players not signed up and some big clubs like Everton', villa with money and there's other clubs in their respective leagues that's e been denied for decades by the clubs at the top that could thrive

The Germans not joining is a killer, PSG showing absolute integrity so far in saying no, that's really ****ed them up.

    Hopefully Ajax refuses too.
