I LOVE that idea!

The irony of it! Write into law that you cannot be relegated from the football pyramid and cannot do anything that would result in that under the rules.

 

That is exactly what can be done to protect our game.

 

Money they'll just make it appealing financially to the government and they'll step aside

 

This is going to happen and they'll still be in the premier league

 

The Government want voters. Populism is very powerful.

 

The tories can't lose even the Labour voters vote tory now.

 

I think you underestimate how deeply the anger to this has gone and the determination of all parts of society to prevent anyone taking the first step down that path.

 

Alienating every football fan is never a good move. Trust me, the Government will act.

 

I really hope you're right mate because I felt sad last night and tbh that's something I've never felt about football.

I gave up of nufc because I was waiting to get rid of Ashley and unfortunately I could never not care. I now face the reality that I'll never be able to return and feeling sad when I see what football is in the years ahead

 

Can we not lynch these people? Is there some ancient loophole that exists?

 

If this is true I'm guessing Man City and Chelsea.

 

It'll be two of the clubs who have CL fixtures coming up next week no doubt!

 

Man City were the ones who surprised me most by signing up to this. Love or hate the model of pumping billions into a football club, but Mansoor has also pumped millions into the local area and invested heavily in creating goodwill and improving local sports facilities and infrastructure. He is also probably the only owner out of the 6 who could cope with any financial penalties of pulling out of the deal.

 

It'll definitely be Man city and Chelsea.
The rest are Americans or ****ers

 

Yeah there's no way it's arsenal or Tottenham and definitely not pool or Manchester United.

He's bulldozed his way to the top and is trying to slam the door shut on the bigger clubs he's trampled over in the process.

 

Bit ironic saying that on this thread. He's done exactly what those who want the PIF takeover want to happen here. He has also done a lot of good for the local area in Manchester, just as we would hope PIF/Reubens would do for Newcastle.
