It is going to get interesting. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...ws-Florentino-Perez-Man-Utd-Liverpool-Chelsea
I aren't going to trawl through for you. Do it yourself. I don't think it is well known as everyone likes the fluffy bunnies and stuff.
First thing I looked into, we would win the FA Cup from 2014, be in the Final in 1930 but arguably that would go to Huddersfield who lost to Arsenal same as being in the final of the League Cup in 2017 but losing it to Southampton. Just silverware though.
They don't even have to ban them. The FA could simply say we will not pick any players who are playing in the ESL instead of sanctioned competitions.
Heard that on the radio yesterday. Fair play to Grimsby. More people supporting their home town teams the better.
I've never had much time for Shearer, as a pundit, but he's just rocketed right into my top 10 of footie icons. His comments on BBC this morning should be related to the owners of the **** six by Brian Blessed using a megaphone.
Depressingly they had two Muppets on Radio 4 this morning from the Uganda and Dubai Liverpool Supporters Clubs who were over the moon with the idea. Salivating at getting to watch the biggest teams in the world playing each other over and over again without the distraction of the little teams.
Just been looking on face book at various anti super league posts. I saw a guy from Hull post “ as a Liverpool supporter ( he’s never watched them) I totally disagree with the new league.” Oh the irony. “Support a big club not from your home town due to their success and size then claim you are a man of the people. These people are part of the original problem in the first place. Elitism.
Could the government nationalise the 6 PL clubs, giving the current owners a quid each, and then gift them to the supports
First email on Burnsy yesterday morning " I have been a Manchester. United supporter for 66 years...". Burnsy read it out empathising with him instead of telling him he was a plastic ****er and the sort of fan this is aimed at, someone with no connection to the club they have latched onto. "supporting" "their" club from their armchair via a TV subscription.
He also said that he had been a fan through thick and thin. My email, asking if the thin was the one season they spent in Division 2 and if he was one of the sad inadequates with a red and white scarf queueing for buses to OPE and Longhill I was laughing at as I passed them never got read out for some reason.
