Well it’s another big game, Sunderland on their day are a very decent side in this league. However I just want to see us playing some of that quick one touch football which we have been doing recently, it’s great to watch. On Saturday we had a great come back but first half everything was played to slow. Hopefully it should be a great game with us coming out on top.

Has anything been said by the club about Honeyman's injury? Is it serious or even real? Might he just have been rested?

Like you I think Slater should stay in. Done well in the CDM role - quite quick to nip in and stop trouble, calm in possession, plenty of energy. I like Smallwood but don't think there's any way McCann will rush him back in and rightly so. Burke is a tricky one as I do think he is probably our best CB but again Jones not done much wrong and Burke might be rusty. I suspect there'll be no changes, other than Honeyman if fit.

Would love to see Wilks have a good game because I don’t think he has been fully on his game lately, I did notice though on Saturday every time he got the ball they always had two on him and often made him try and go on the outside. I love to see him bully the fullback that is when he is at his best.

I think he's been found out by a few clubs this season but there again he does come up with goals now and again! I think he'd do well to have another trick up his sleeve and McCann could try him in the middle from time to time if he's being tied up on the wing.

I agree on Saturday first half I was hoping he would swap wings for a few minutes or move inside, start cross movement ect just to vary his game more. I do think they always had a man behind the fullback, they know he likes to go inside and get a shot away so forcing him on the outside makes him not so effective. I do think for him to get his full potential he needs to work on his weak foot and be happy to take the fullback on both inside and the outside. He can always get you a goal, is strong and has the potential to go further.

I think he's scored a lot of goals for us this season. That's a thing, I think.

I remember when Peter Swan said he didn't really rate Stuart Elliott and I quote him.

"I don't really rate Elliott, I mean what does he give us apart from goals?"

I'm not even kidding here, Swan actually said that in his own column in the HDM.

I loved Elliott he made the difference in loads of games, he was also a great header for his height. Regarding Wilks he’s been great for us overall this season and his goals have been so important, I just feel because of this other teams will be watching and like Saturday they are forcing him on the outside so for him to realise his full potential he needs to work on his other foot and have the confidence to become has good going either way. For a winger he has such strength so there is a big opportunity to go further if he works on his game.

I think if we win tonight and Lincoln and Blackpool both lose, we can’t be overtaken by Lincoln, Blackpool or Sunderland.
